May 29, 2008 Applied for DSL service. Was told it was available in my area. Placed order. ORDER # 12581029 CIRCUIT#103-896-422
May 30 - Order was confirmed and remote work would be done by June 4.
June 5 - E-mail stating that remote work completed and DSL equipment should be installed.
June 9 - attempted to install equipment for DSL service
June 10 - E-mail received that DSL order had been successfully installed. NOTE: I WAS NEVER ABLE TO GET DSL SERVICE.
Called for installation support. Spoke to Clad - tried 6 refreshes - still NOT connected. Told to try again in 2 hours for connection.
June 11 - Called for help again because I still had NO DSL service.
Spoke to Avey - Told that I am too far away from central office and DSL service is NOT available.
Spoke to Daniel -Told DSL service is NOT available in my area .
Disconnected for DSL #12595630. asked to return equipment. Did so on June 12 - UPS tracking #1Z1R91A20605068360
Was supposed to connect to UNLIMITED DIAL-UP for $16.95 Confimation #DLS1DD1MK0611
July 10 - Received AT&T bill. Charge for INTERNET service was $81.54. Called World INTERNET - Spoke to Ester. She removed the charge - Confirmation #DLESTHERV0711
August 4 - Received monthly AT&T bill. Charge for World INTERNET service is $68.16 .
August 5 - Called AT&T world INTERNET service for an explanation as to why there was such a charge because I was told on June 11 that I was back on unlimited dial-up service for $16.95 a month. Spoke to Julia who told me that I was on some 20 hour plan and that I had used some 70+ hours of time and there was a charge of $.99 per hour for all hours used after 20 hours. I tried to explain to her about the ongoing problem that I seemed to be having and she just continued to repeat herself that I had only 20 hours of service .
August 8 - TODAY - I seem to be unable to resolve my problem.
I will gladly pay $16.95 for each of the past 2 months for INTERNET service (which is what I have been charged all along ) . Hope you can help resolve my ongoing problem.
