Back in december 2006 i had loss of income and could no longer afford the mortgage payment on my home, i promptly put my home up for sale... the market in florida is so bad i couldn't sell my home, i received several offers amounting to what was owed on the mortgage... i contacted americas servicing corp to see if they would waive prepayment penalty in order for me to get home sold mind you i stood to make no money on this home i just wanted to avoid a foreclosure.... asc denied my request once, again i received another offer, i again requested the waive the prepayment penalty again asc denied my request... several months went by pre foreclosure proceedings began, i tried for a short sale... 3 times asc denied my request... asc is a terrible mortgage company... they are not willing to negotiate in any way... i am currently awaiting a sale date on my home, again i asked asc as my last resort to get a deed in lieu of the foreclosure and yet again, they are requesting i put it in writing, along with all documents pertaining to finances and my request will get sent in for a review which takes 30-60days... again I've submitted all these documents 6 times already, the information hasn't changed and they refuse to use anyone of those requests they state they need a new request every time i request one... this company is a scam....i believe they want homeowners to foreclose... i would not recommend asc to my worst enemy.
