Payments not applied in time
My loan was transferred to ASC a few months ago. Since that time my payments have been reported as late or not received. I had no problems at all with my previous company but somehow now I can't get a payment made on time. There is no website and calling is fruitless.
This has to be unlawful but I am in no position to afford an attorney right now. All I can hope for is that enough of us complaint so that there will be a class action suit against these thieves. What is scary is that so called "reputable" companies use these people. Hmmm.

Rob every which way they can!
Yesterday I called to make an automated payment so after trying several times I was deferred to a customer service rep and asked why I could not make my payment with the machine and she told me the following, because you are avoiding to pay a late fee which reflects on the account it defers you to me, now bare in mind that the same thing happened when trying to make the payment online because I wanted to make only my monthly mortgage payment plus the $ 10.00 fee it did not go through, so in the end I wound up paying a $ 20.00 fee because I made the payment with the rep instead of $ 10.00 online or $ 15.00 with the automated machine.
These people rob every which way they can and do not try to help you.
They truly stink.

Forced placed insurance
We were forced to pay hazard insurance when we already had proof that we were currently covered.They have not issued a refund and are still being forced to pay out every month even after repeated calls of complaints.They keep stating we will get our money back as soon as the insurance company refunds them back.They stated it would take up to 30 days and it has been now 7 months.We are at a total loss as of what to do.

Unsolicited phone calls
I have been receiving phone calls from this company every day for the past three days regarding my payment which is not due yet. They want me to call them back to tell them I am sending my payment which is ridiculous. I pay my mortgage by the 15th of each month. Just because they don't receive it exactly on the first does not mean they have the right to call me all the time. That is why there is a grace period. This company doesn't even have a web site to check if they did receive your payment or not. It would be alot easier if the customer could check on their loan by website rather than sitting on hold forever.

Bully tactics
I just read a list of complaints against ASC. I just have to add my own list of harassing phone calls, threating foreclosure, and generally abusive tactics ---- even before I might be "late". They have backed off recently since I have never been late (beyond the "grace" period). I do not know and I think they do not know if they are a mortgage company, a Real Estate Company or a debt collection Agency. They talk as if they own the house I built instead of being a loan customer where the collateral I used was my home - a big difference. I did not select them. They took over a mortgage from Ageis mortgage. Stay away if you can.

Really do not recommend this loan company to anyone!
I am writing today because this is the 3rd time I have problems with this loan company. My original Loan Company was bought out by Americas Servicing Co. and this is when the problems begun. Not to mention the other problems I've had with this Loan company, I just received a call 10 minutes ago stating they have not yet received my January monthly loan payment. btw- ASLC's representative who called me was completely rood. Anyway, I just checked my bank account and of course it shows that the checks have been cleared??? What is wrong with this company? They're making me send them copies of the cleared checks. I am a full time working mother of 2, I DON'T HAVE TIME to do this AGAIN! They need to get their #$@% together! Sorry just a little ticked off. Really do not recommend this loan company to anyone.

Fraud and cheating!
My mortgage was sold to ASC on October 20, 2006 by New Century. After reading the letter, I jumped on the net only to be totally amazed at the poor reputation this company has. After a few phone calls, I totally understand why.
Everyone on here has basically all the same complaints, interested in doing something legally?
