I received my package of WeatherTech Window Deflectors from The Parts Bin - All OEM Parts Inc.- Auto Parts Warehouse - Bodymasters Auto Parts (these are all the same companies with the same Phone Number) and they were broken upon arrival from FedEx. The box had been smashed (poorly Packaged, these are plastic), I called customer service at All OEM Parts Inc. and they said that they would not replace them. They told me that I had to purchase another set and wait 4-6 weeks for a refund on these unusable broken parts(Like I was going to give them my credit card # again, NOT)! Even though I explained this was not my fault they still would not budge, not even after explaining that the FedEx guy noted the damaged box on his handheld computer! All of the names listed above are part of the same company with the same (888)623-3247 Phone number. I did report this to the Better Business Bureau and I would recommend that anyone else do the same if this happens to you!
According to another man's complaint (Auto Parts Warehouse); he also had to pay shipping to return his item and then they charged him a $14.00 re-stock fee for floor mats that were not the correct size! Most companies treat their customers with much more dignity than this, especially if they want return business!
They will not let you speak with any supervisors and will not work with you at all! In fact, today (3-14-07) I called again hoping to catch a supervisor that was not in a meeting, Not a Chance!!! So far, I have spoke to Mora, John ext. 2524 and Arvin and not one of these customer service reps will transfer a call to a supervisor!
Companies like these that carry such horrible business ethics must be reported, because we all like to think that businesses are going to be honest and respectful of their customers.
I will continue to post these complaints so that everyone will see what my experience with these companies will be when it comes time to issue a credit for me. Will they handle this with Honesty or Not? Will they Issue a Credit after receiving the Parts back or Will they charge me a restocking fee for Unusable parts that were broken upon delivery? Will they wait 4-6 WEEKS before issuing a credit?
