Fraud service, totally unprofessional, charge your credit card without providing service, no customer care. Hopeless!
I'm TERRIBLY disappointed with this website, service from the day I have registered. Initially I paid 5$ on registration and the call quality was fine. However after a few days I wasn't able to login as it continuously says "Invalid user id/password" which is meaningless. After a few attempts the same id/pwd would work, however I could never recharge as the transaction hangs half way through. My userid since then wasn't working.

Added to the frustration I was tempted to register for another user and without my knowledge the registered value was 100$ and the page froze in the process of registration (with the message - "please wait while the transaction is being processed ..." after I gave all my cc details. I waited for nearly 3 minutes after which I had to close the browser window. There wasn't any email confirmation that Ive been registered so I presume that the transaction was never made. To my shock my credit card is now reflecting a 100$ credit from Bharti and I have no way of charging a complaint. The customer care no can NEVER be reached. I started writing an email for a complaint and guess what - I got a validation error saying "please enter all fields marked with *" !!!!!! There are javascript errors on the webpage all over. Nothing really works except the pretty shah rukh poster on the webpage (which btw just shows the irony of what money can do. I think Airtel Ceo has pumped up all the money for this project's budget to srk and the remaining was used to develop this website!)

From what I can understand being a software guy, this website was prematurely developed by a bunch of college kids without any idea of handling the scalability and the management handling this is probably the most terrible of all. I just dont understand how the management can sleep over such a shame for more than 2 weeks now ...

Needless to say, this has been by far the most unprofessional and unethical service started by any giant corporation that I have ever known on internet and it just shows how poorly they have launched this ambitious project.

I think I have lost my initial 5$ and now another 100$ and IM NOT ALONE. I know personally atleast 15 of my friends who have lost to the tune of 50-100$ each and counting this amounts I wont be surprised if airtel has already collected 100,000$ in the first week

SHAME ON Bharti/Airtel to loot people in the name of their brand name

PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE TO ALL and instead of reading this message here and adding any other complaint, please forward this to the media, someone who possibly has the right connections can bring this to light. I am sure things would be different if it turns out to the media...

This is to tell the customers not to register with airtel calling card service.their website is full of bugs. if u register ur credit card will be charged promptly but no account detailsl will be sent to u. customer care telphone number is engaged and they call it 24 x 7 customer care number :)).

Airtel Callhome is a fraud, website doesnt work, no customer care, cheating customers

Third grade service!
I don't know where to start...

1. Website sucks. Nothing works except for the payment part. Very smart.
2. Cannot register phone numbers.
3. Voice menu on connect is pathetic. 90% times doesn't detected the entered pin and hangs up.
4. 90% cannot even connect to the 877 number.
5. 90% of the time says entered phone number is wrong.
6. call if eventually goes through gets cut randomly but mostly after 8 mins.

Good part.
1. As promised they doubled the amount we registered for.

So what, we have double the credit, but cannot use it.

Airtel Call Home - Plethora of problems
Airtel started their service much fanfare and lot of blitz. They are unable to live up to their image.
I opened a account with them, but I did not receive any email. I called their customer service and they told me that they will be sending an email with registration details which they never did.

After that I opened another account with them and still the same problem and after umpteen times, I finally was able to talk to customer service and this time, they sent me email with the registration details. Also, they charged me for both the times and created two accounts , when I confronted with them saying that it is because of their fault, I opened 2 accounts and they charged me $50 for each registration. So, I asked them to cancel one account and they refused saying that they will not cancel the registration or return the money even if it is because of their mistake.

I used one account for 15 minutes and after that my balance came down from $100 to 99 cents. I opened a complaint with them and requested them to resolve the problem. Subsequently I called and told the customer service that my account is still showing 99 cents, but they told me that the problem is resolved even though I told them it is not.

This is the poor state of their customer service. Their customer service is not for the customers but for the call center people to open and close the tickets. Even after 5 complaints, my account balance came to down 3 cents from $100 after using the card for 15 minutes.

Right now, not only their website sucks, even their customer service and toll free number are taking too much time to get connected even at times you have to try umpteen times before getting connected after couple of hours.

It looks like Bharti Airtle failed to live up to their name. They have not done their ground work very poorly before launching their service.Their customer service and toll free number for making calls do not many lines and so they are unable to service their customers. They are not trying to resolve the problems but on the other hand, they are taking the customers for a ride. This is ridiculous and hilarious.

Reliance communications is thousand times better in providing the service.

No response after registration
I have registered on this website for making calls to India. They said after registration and payment , they will send a mail. But I have not got any mails from them.

When tried to contact them, the phone line is not working.
Their customer service ( 24 * 7) number 1 877 247 5150

This is the worst customer service I have ever seen.

They charged my credit card, before even activating the service, which much worse...

Atrocious customer service or a scam?
I signed up for Airtel Call home lured by their offer of 7.9c a min with double the talk time for the signup and the first recharge till Jan 31. making it an effective rate of ~4c a min to call India from the US.

Alas, I should have believed in the adage 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'. My credit card has been charged (the website is funky or maybe even clever: it gave errors when i signed up in terms of providing proof of signup, but evidently functioned well when it came to charging my credit card!!) and neither has my phone number been registered nor have I received any email acknowledging the signup. The only proof of my signing up is the charge on my credit card which was very prompt.

To add insult to injury, neither do they respond to email nor is their "24x7 Customer Care No. " 1-877-247-5150 working. Considering that they are a telecom company, the irony cannot be lost! Wondering if this is genuinely by Bharti which is a reputed telecom player in India or a scam perpetrated on us by someone!

Airtel CallHome sucks!
Airtel CallHome, The service is pathetic. Ever since i bought $ 50. I was not able to use it so far due to problems. I cannot reach customer service. I tried to use my phone as a registered phone but not successful. I finally was able to reach customer service after 1 hr and they said they fixed it. But i still have the same problem. I am closing this account. If not put a complaint with credit card.

Now even the toll free number is busy... Going back to good old days in the 20th century.

Do not go with this service. Reliable or Reliance are by far the best professional service that you can for the price.
