I am a former employee of Afni, Inc. in Bloomington. I had to quit after my morals were pushed to the limits with what supervisors/coaches wanted to me to say to consumers. It was by far...the worst company I have ever worked for in my lifetime of 42 years. I was appauled. If anyone...ANYONE wants "inside" information on this company and how to get OUT of paying the bills they THINK owe...just ask. I can tell you how to nip this all in the behind, get your case closed with Afni and have them never contact you again. I wish there were something I could do nationw-wide to expose this company for their standards, morals and HOW THEY TREAT their consumers and employees. Its so very, very sad. Thank you

A few days ago, Id decided to purchase a vehicle and was told I had negative Item posted on my credit report from AFNI, INC. To my surprise I called them up and informed them that this is an error and remove the false entry form my report. I was accused of blaming other for my poor paying habit. Can you believe that S_IT ? I always monitor my credit and check my score to ensure it’s over 775. I wouldn’t compromise my credit for a mere 200 dollars. They are so rude and unprofessional and I will fight this tell it gets resolved.

AFNI put a false account of $665 dollars on my credit report!!

My wife was sent a collection notice from Afni, Inc, saying her account with TDS (phone company) was overdue for around $250.

A few problems with this:

1) The last time she lived in an area TDS served was in the early part of 2001.

2) We received the bill in November, 2009. 8 1/2 years!

3) The bill was in her maiden name, and we have been married for more than 3 years. No prior attempt has ever been made to collect such a debt (I have been with her since 2002, and we've never had TDS-- I make it a point not to!).

4) I researched a little: Statute of limitations to collect debt through courts is 6 years in this case (Wisconsin), and the max usually stated is 8 years. Credit bureaus can't take reports of delinquent accounts after 7 years, so long as you tell them that this account has not been active for more than 7 years (and active includes using the account, calling about it, etc.).

I was also contacted by afni, inc. for a verizon phone bill that was from 1996!! I paid the bill trying to improve my credit score but come to find out it wasn't even on my credit anymore.
