acai pure trial Reviews

unauthorized charges to my account
On 11-08-08 I ordered a FREE TRIAL of Acai Pure AND Colotox for the advertised price of $4.95 Shipping on each product. This company chrged my account 2 separate charges of $44.85 and $45.85. The Colotox arrived first and the Acai Pure arrived a week later. Both products had 2 more products in the package that WERE NOT ORDERED by me. They were one bottle of Hoodiawater and one package of Hoodia Gum. The invoice showed $1.00 for the Colotox, $9.95 for the Hoodia Gum, $29.95 for the Hoodiawater AND $4.95 for Shipping. For the charges on the invoice in the Acai Pure package, they were indentical to the above with the exception of the $1.00 charge. On 12/01/08 another charge appeared on my account from this company for $38.95. No more products were ever ordered by me. I called the 888-692-8352 listed for Customer Care on 12/2/08 and was on hold for over 90 minutes with no one ever answering. On 12/2/08 again I called this number and was on hold for 121 minutes when FINALLY a real person answered the phone. I told her I was calling because my account had charges on it by their company that they were unauthorized to have taken. The Rep "JUDY" explained that I would of had to uncheck a few little boxes to make the order only $4.95 which she said I did not. The web site tells you, you have 30 days to return the unused portion and get a refund minus 15% restocking fee. My 30 days would expire on 12/8/08 yet on 12/1/08 they charged me $38.95 saying my trial time HAD expired (20 days later). I demanded they refund my account for what they took fraudulently and was told to send everything back and I would be refunded. YET, on the invoice it states you must have an RMA# from this company to get this refund which JUDY did not offer to me. I asked her for this NUMBER and she said, "you get that from the post office". I read what the invoice said about the RMA# and she then immediately offered this number to me. I was told once they receive the products back, my account would be reimbursed within 3 weeks. I did comment that it only took them minutes to take these funds and it's ridiculous that I should have to wait 3 weeks to get them back! "JUDY" threatened to disconnect this call if I did not calm down. I replied with, "YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO PEOPLE"! The products were mailed out CERTIFIED MAIL on 12/02/08! I have spent a lot of money online ordering different things, paying bills ect...This IS the day and age of computers and internet. Saying well, dont order on line IS NOT the solution to this problem. Companies such as Central Coast Nutraceuticals Inc NEED to be brought to Justice for scamming thousands of innocent people. They NEED to be shut down!

overcharged for products not ordered
I tried to contact your company multiple times to get an authorization # in order to return the items I had not order and had to pay for. I am requesting my money back or I will report you to the Consumers agency, and to my credit card customer service. I hope to hear from you soon. My envelope is already made to be mail to you. Please send the authorization via e-mail as soon as possible. Thank you.

Received and charged for other items I did not order.
I ordered a trial bottle of Acai Pure for $4.95 shipping and they sent me Hoodiaburst Gum $9.95
and Hoodiawater $29.95 for a total of $44.85and I did not order nor do I want to keep. The enclosed paper only gives me 30 days to return any unopened packages. they say they will charge 15% restocking fee and I have to contact them for Returned merchandise Authorization number from their customer service. Every time I try to call the number is busy and wait time is 88min 27 seconds. I did not need a total of $44.85 charged on my card when it was only suppose to be a charge of $4.95. WHAT IS THIS A SCAM. SHAME ON YOU FOR SCAMING AN Old PERSON. I better not have anything else charged to my Charge Account.

Unauthorized charges
Just like thousands of other people I ordered the free 30 day trial of Acai Pure and was only to be charged the $4.95 shipping and handling. When I received my package it also contained a Hoodiburst Gum for $9.95 and Hoodiawater for $29.95 with a total bill of $44.85

Unauthorized Charges
All I thought I was ordering was the Free Trial of Acai Pure at a cost of shipping only at $4.95. On my 4th phone call to the customer service department where someone answered after 39 minutes I was informed that the other products were a marketing gimmick and I did not read carefully so did not catch the fact that you had prechecked the other products of hoodiburst gum at $9.95 and hoodiawater1 unit at $29.95. I was offered a $15.00 discount which I refused because I did not want the extra products and due to my concern about the company I did not any longer want the Free offer. The representative refused to help me (several times) because I had filed a dispute of charges with my bank. I did call again and waited for a total of 109 minutes for a representative from the customer service department to answer. I was again offered a discount, this time $20.00 to keep the products and again I refused and informed the representative that I did not want to keep the products and did not want any more, to be sure that there were no future charges to my account. I was then issued a Return Merchandise Authorization .

I sent back the unopened products and the company received them per my US Postal Service Delivery Confirmation Receipt.

This entire process from order to receipt took 13 days. The internet ad shows returns to be made within 14 days and the sales receipt I was sent shows within 30 days of the original purchase date refunds will be made.

The company Acaipure has now made another unauthorized charge of $39.95 to my credit card. No other product was received by me, nor have I in any way authorized the company to collect funds from my account. There has not been any adjustment made on the original charge and so far they have charged my account $79.90.

By the offer statement I am responsible for $4.95 shipping and 15% of 39.95 which is $5.99 to restock theproduct. That is a total of $10.94 which I will not dispute once I have heard from this company and have been assured that my credit card will no longer be charged.

charged account without order
I answered one of their trial ads and was supposed to only pay postage, however they sent two other items and charged my account for these items and another charge for a second delivery of the trial product and other items. When I called to resolve this issue and make sure they cancel I had to wait for over an hour on hold only to be hung up on by their representative. I told her I was not done discussing this situation and wanted to talk to a supervisor, she refused to let me speak to anyone else and hung up on me after I told her this issue has not been resolved please do not hang up, but she did anyway. I have emailed their on line support only to not have anyone respond. I have not been able to communicate with this company through telephone or email. Everytime I try to call I wait for over an hour until my lunch hour is over and have to get back to work.

Total Scam
I totally agree we everyone, this company is as shady as they come! I ordered my product and after about a little over a week when I hadn't received it yet, I decided to go back into the sight where I had initially heard about the product (it was something like jenny'ssweightloss.com or something like that) and low and behold the website was nowhere to be found. This is part of the scam. These companies set up their base in places like Florida where the laws aren't as strict as some other states and they seduce innocent consumers to buy there products without fully disclosing there "terms and conditions" (this is usually another link that you must click on at the bottom of the page), they get your order and all your information, charge your accounts and then when the flood of complaints start rolling in "poof" there gone! They have usually set up under a different company name and on to their next victims! Also, they will send "cookies" to your computer for tracking and will also share your information with other companies which is why some people received charges that weren't authorized, so clear out all the cookies on your computers on a regular basis. And may I also suggest to all of you who have been victims of these SNAKES and can't get through to anyone because another part of their scam is that when you do call the customer service number they tell you that "because of the high volume of calls they are experiencing your wait time is..." which is usually over an hour, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL NEWS CONSUMER REPORTER AND SHARE YOUR STORY, many times these reporters want to help and stop this kind of shady business and will get involved and create national publicity aimed at these companies. And guess what happens?...you usually get your refund back within a day or two. And also being so close to Christmas and other celebrated holidays, many of use have kids and don't need this kind of heartache for our children because of some greedy, shady, snake-in-the grass capitalist! If you used a debit card (like I stupidly did) cancel that card right away. Be sure to research any company on the Better Business Bureau's website, look into their "terms and conditions", and if they aren't "100% money back guarantee" then I'd look elsewhere. STOP THESE BASTARDS IN THEIR TRACKS AND PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS FOR GOOD!!!
