Our 2001 Yukon XL is on its third electric fuel pump. The pump itself is $400 and labor about $600. We also had to have the vehicle towed each time after stranding my wife and kids. We also had to have the transmission rebuilt at 95,000 miles for an additional $3,000. If you don't absolutely need the extra room, I would recommend something Japanese or German.
