Old Republic Home Protection does not pay on there claims. I had a working A/C when I bought the property and I purchased the ORHP warranty. Shortly after I closed the property, the A/C failed. I had a Home Inspection Report that indicated that the A/C was working but Old Republic still refused to pay the claim siting that the claim was a pre-existing condition, Even though the policy clearly states that pre-existing conditions are covered. Fees are ridiculous and almost impossible to close an acct. Credit Card--back of statement reads "if full amount paid no incurring interest will be charged." WRONG!!! On presidents day (Feb 18th) of this year 2011, my husband and I decided to purchase new mattress sets for both of our daughters. We checked several known stores but decided on Mattress Warehouse on Garland Groh Blvd in Hagerstown, MD. Late fee $35.00...Sunday due dates...Payments processed saturday ...no payments processed sunday. My bank pays and it takes 4 days till processed. Have called multiple times regarding this problem. It has been over a month since I received my tax refund which was deposited into a prepaid account with Green Dot. I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax and chose this option because they advertised it as being faster option. The alternative would have been to wait about 4 weeks for the IRS to mail me a check. Uship over charges (15%) to simply pass along the shipping to 3rd and 4th party for shipping. They charge you the fee up front (with no possibility for a refund)then pawn you off to numerous vendors. The QuickLube lane is anything but quick. Ford Rewards owes me an oil change but the wait at the "QuickLube" has been anywhere from 2 to 5 hours on any day I've tried to redeem it for 11 months. I fell for their add and ordered teeth whitening products. I cancelled through e-mail within ten days (that was in Nov 2010). My credit card was charged $35.81 in January (plus a FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE of $1.07. When I called, the woman said she would turn it over to billing for a refund.
