On 1/11/2011 I purchased an hour glass using PayPal at the Hourglass Connection or hourglasses.com as of to date 3/30/11 I have never received the product. I sent numerous e-mails to David Hood the proprietor and he always had an excuse E-mail not working waiting for parts, etc. I complained to PayPal on 3/20/11and told them I never received the product I was told that they could do nothing because it was over 45 days since the transaction. I ordered several items of clothing from this site as it seemed a perfectly normal website to purchase Abercrombie and fitch cothes. Everything seemed ok and I got a thank you email saying they'd dispatch my order and had received the money I paid them via debit card. several weeks went by so I contacted them to be told that they were out of stock so I had to reorder different items, which I did. Several weeks later, the same thing again...out of stock...reorder different items etc. I've asked for a refund at least a dozen times since and getting no reply from them. I had some work done on the internet by a medium by the name of Tara (VP/Tara-Medium UK) and she was paid from my bank account. The money was refunded to my account because I was not happy to pay for what she had done. Bought a coupon from Groupon for Nuttyguys.com on 3/9/11 and redeemed it on 3/13/11. Have not received my order yet and yet I was charged on 3/14. I recently used my card number to get access to a free 2 day trial. I know that some sites will give you a surcharge after you register in case you don't cancel your subscription. I canceled on time but the weird thing was it wasn't even for this site called SIACCESS.NET or Suretynet.org. I went to this site and within seconds a videoplayer started downloading on my computer, I do not know what happened next. All of these pop ups starting going all over my site and I will admit I hit the "suckerpunch" icon on the screen because that movie just opened in theaters last week and I was curious about what would happen. These were to start a week after my background check was done, which cost me $99. I attempted to cancel my order BEFORE the items shipped and was told that it was not possible and that if I returned the items there would be a whopping 30% restocking fee. If this had been mentioned at all before my purchase, I never would have done so. My company operates a shipping department as well and it is absolutely possible to cancel an ordfer that is in the "processing" phase. Now this site you should stay well away from - I purchased a membership for this and within less than an hour asked for a refund. Nothing actually works inside the membership control panel, when signing up it says - all you have to do is purchase this "one" package and a list of promises, even a "crisp" $100 bill if you don't make the money from the system. It is a website for pilots that (among other things) claims to track comments from actual experiences people have had at the FBOs (fixed base operators) some pilots have visited. During signing we told their representative we had just come out of a 2.5 year lease in which the last 6 months the owner of the home was trying to sell the house.
