I Mary S. Little called on Saturday May o7, 2011, and schelued an appointment to have mother's day pictures taken. I was given the time slots that was available, I chose 5:00pm. The staff person called me to confirm my appointment and the number of people that would be included in this package. At 3:00pm she advised me that I needed to be on time. My hubsand and I arrived at 4:40pm. We sat there until 5:30pm, then the photographer told me that sha had a 3:00pm appointment that didn't show until 3:30pm. I hired this mover for moving 3 items from my home to another home that is 100 m far from my place . As per phone conversation company representative told me they do charge $65 for 1 hr that include 2 worker and 1 driver and I confirmed this thing 2 times on phone. Since $65 is reasonable amount for moving 3 item then I agreed and booked it . I was driving to pick up my daughter from school and had to complete a rolling test, while providing this test it had said failed. Prior to providing the test I had put a pinch of Cope in and it had failed. I do believe that this had something to do with the fail. I redid the test with/out the after three minutes and passed the test. Either the product is faulty or the tabacco has something to do with the failure. read full review »

They are based out of Culver, City Ca. Registration # is 2010316110086, anyway I thought I could save money with this site, right? stupid me I signed up and immediatly was debited 99.00, It gets better, I bidded on a swifer sweeper, they want me to buy this sweeper for the amount of 49.33 and pay shipping in the amount of 4.99 the grand total of 143.34. I got pictures taken of my infant son in Feb. 2011 and it's been a nightmare dealing with the online company. Firstly it wasn't until March that I even saw my photos and even to get them posted took 2 emails (I've ordered from JCP and it was a matter of days and they were up on the website). Next, Searsphoto.com sent a very large online order to my house via regular mail. April 18th 2011 purchased a Samsung Freeform phone particularly for email purposes and made that clear to the merchant( ID#7100837) who advised that if I go with their $50.00 per month plan I would have unlimited web and email access. This is an investment company in Toronto, Ontario. VERY POOR service. Big on talk, but VERY SLOW to deliver. They are about 18 months past the date of when they said I would receive payment and return of capital.
They are trying to say that they are separated from their parent company, PROFITABLE PLOTS of Singapore, which I found out has a BAD reputation. I hope that they are, but on the other hand, the fact is that they are NOT keeping their promises to me (and others). read full review »

It isn't the biggest scam there is, but I'd like the mention that it certainly isn't the $15.00 a year. Basically, you're paying $15.00 to have classifieds listed that you could otherwise find on the internet elsewhere. On top of that, most of these companies already have SO many applicants, that it becomes pointless to even apply to the remote gigs.
One job I applied for was a "work from home" telemarketing position advertising land loans. Needless to say, a countless number of people applied for this position and I didn't hear back from them. read full review »
