I have hughs net for 13 months. I have a problem with my hardware. I was a few days late calling so my warrnety is over. They wanted me to run "speed test" which took me 3 days and several hours of my time!!! They said I needed a repair person at $125 for a diagnostic plus a repair person for work plus parts. WILD BLUE is in my area now with local people, and a much better service. For those who must have Hughes Net maybe you will have to do what we did-Pray and ask God for an alternative. In Oct 08 I was looking into financing some repairs to my home and learned of a 203k mortgage. I contacted HCI mortgage and was referred to the 'Expert' in that loan for HCI. I have to make travel arrangements for my husbands business and am always shocked to see what Northwest charges for a direct flight from chattanooga to memphis. It cost 3 times the cost if i stop once. Airfares in late November are 1029.00 per person! Don't you think in these horrible economic times we should get better rates for a direct flight than a flight that stops and flies into a city that is not even on the way? I did sign up for a free sample of the Tri-Slim, but I had a certain amount of days to cancel this program. I did call and cancel, however my fitness mentor told me they are a separate company and that they needed to be contacted directly. So I paid $29.99 twice for nothing. I asked the customer service agent, what I received for those payments, she indicated that I could use their website, unfortunately, I did not even know I was signed up for this. They would not credit the charges, but the service has now been cancelled. This site fraudulently signed me up for some sort of savings and entertainment membership while I was using another website. I was never prompted to decline the membership. I was direct to a company called consumerbill.com who said they would cancel it and I even have a hard copy of the live chat with the agent who supposedly canceled it.
