In Oct 08 I was looking into financing some repairs to my home and learned of a 203k mortgage. I contacted HCI mortgage and was referred to the 'Expert' in that loan for HCI. I began all the usual documentation for credit stuff and after all was finished I was told looks good I need to get 2 appraisals and a HUD report my cost $1500.00 (I was told only out of pocket for this loan is $800.00) I had all of this done and had contractors sign paperwork as well ... I have to make travel arrangements for my husbands business and am always shocked to see what Northwest charges for a direct flight from chattanooga to memphis. It cost 3 times the cost if i stop once. Airfares in late November are 1029.00 per person! Don't you think in these horrible economic times we should get better rates for a direct flight than a flight that stops and flies into a city that is not even on the way? It is robbery and Northwest makes me sick. Small business people like us can't afford to waste all day to get to memphis when there is a 1 hour flight available. I did sign up for a free sample of the Tri-Slim, but I had a certain amount of days to cancel this program. I did call and cancel, however my fitness mentor told me they are a separate company and that they needed to be contacted directly. So I paid $29.99 twice for nothing. I asked the customer service agent, what I received for those payments, she indicated that I could use their website, unfortunately, I did not even know I was signed up for this. They would not credit the charges, but the service has now been cancelled. This site fraudulently signed me up for some sort of savings and entertainment membership while I was using another website. I was never prompted to decline the membership. I was direct to a company called consumerbill.com who said they would cancel it and I even have a hard copy of the live chat with the agent who supposedly canceled it. I have been a member of Pogo for 1 year. I recently won a prize and now Pogo is refusing to release it to me. They said that I was using an automated robot to play for me which is completely bogus. Recently I had occasion to come to the Center gym on a Thursday night and have a discouraging incident occur at the front desk.
