I did set up service with this company, which was real easy, but after doing everything right I found out that my system was not compatible with my player so I canceled. This was within 5 minutes. Signed up for personal training sessions. Paid over $900. They were never able to find me a trainer and refuse to give me my money back. I disupted the charge with Credit Card and they lied and said they had scheduled multiple appointments with me and I cancelled--which is a lie. The corporate office will not let me speak with any managers. They don't give out names and make it as difficult as possible to file a complaint. I never received any vitamins and did not request the $3.95 shipment either. And I definitely never authorized billing to my credit card for $79.90. The bank tells me that I had to wait for it to clear and then dispute it. Then if they were to refund my money, it would take days or week, IF THE COMPANY AGREED. I am also tired of the same type of practices that seem to reverberate through this complaint forum. From receiving statements late or not at all, (I've gone as far as to call them when they are late and request a statement faxed or e-mailed which they refuse to do) to numerous daily collection calls, contacting my 86 year old father, threats of repo and being TOLD that I'm gonna pay via check by telephone immediately. I continue to get daily calls from Time Share Registry. The calls come at all hours of the day. The same screener calls everytime, a guy who says his name is Neil Webster. He asks if I have a timeshare, and I've told him no, and that I want off his list. I've said this numerous times. My wife puchased an ActiveProducts 1650 pressure washer and I must say that it is the worst piece of crap that I have in my workshop. One of the presure adaptors broke off, because it is a cheap piece of plastic, just like all other pressue components in this motor. Last week while applying for a loan, my credit report shows an entry for a company called Access Capital of El Cajon, CA. They are a legitimate (apparently) collection agency. I purchased a scooter from EVOsales, an internet based company. According to their policy all deliveries are 100% insured. When the scooter arrived it was damaged. I immediately called the scooter company and they told me to contact the insurance company. I called them, filled out the forms they asked me to, sent them the photos they asked me to, got everything to them within the 15 day time limit but my insurance claim was refused because they had not told me to have an inspector come out and look at the bike. Higgins Power Sports of Barre, Ma botched a snowmobil engine repair and would not honor their responsibility to repair the machine properly. They installed new pistons and rings in my sled and the new pistons failed on the very first ride! In my opinion (Ive been riding for 40 yrs)the failure was most likely due to the failure to properly clean out the carbs before re-installing them.
