I live in Southern Califonia and I purchased a puppy from Carol Keen at Keen Pomeranians in Decatur, Ms. The puppy was very lethargic and throwing up. I took him to the vet within 24 hours and discovered he had Parvo! I then called Carol, the breeder, (if you want to call her that) and she refuses to believe that he had parvo, even though I sent her copies from the vet. This company had been in business for many years. I bought a 3 month unlimited membership and yesterday went there to find they closed their doors on June 30, 2009. A note on the door said due to the economy and family problems they were closing. Funny thing, the owner was in Vegas the weekend before and never let on she was having financial trouble. On June 30th she even said see you tomorrow, knowing full well she was closing down. Well Im out $135.00. I feel sorry for the people who paid more than $300.00 for yearly memberships. I was contacted by Nicole Miller and was told that they had a buyer for my timeshare. She told me that if the buyer backed out I was guaranteed $3500.00. After insistent phone calls frorm CitiBank to get their Credit Protector insurance, I decided to get it. After all, you never know if you may loose your job. It happened I was laid off and guess what? I did not qualify for the protection. Of course it was all my fault for not reading the booklet with all the terms and conditions. In the meantime, I continued unemployed for three more months. The bank fixed all the inconvenience by charging me with higher interest rates and awful fees for me not being able to make the minimum payments. What a great business practice!!
