May 27, 2009 I belong to a Bible study group that was interested in 2 books by Joanna Weaver. They were advertised at $3.99 per book or $5.89 for large print. I wanted 6 of each book. I ordered a subscription after receiving a trial issue. I also ordered a gift subscription for my father. I sent in two separate money orders, one for $12.00 and the other $18.00. When I didn't receive anything after almost 2 months I contacted them. Cooking Light told me I had to have solid proof sent to them. Their correctional facility phone system is cumbersome and user unfriendly. When you have a problem you cannot get a "voice" to talk to. On their automated return your call system, they called me back one hour later and after picking up my phone and waiting no one was on the line to talk to me. Send three buyback orders in early Sept. 08. They were soon listed on the ecampus site as accepted. Then I never got paid. I sent an email. Received a rude reply saying that it would take 4-6 weeks. On the 7th week I called CS and they told me they had a backlog of buyback books and would put me on an express to get me paid. I was promised by the company that the speed for my connection would be up to 2mbps and unfortunately after installing that its found to be 60kbps at the maximum and after repeated complaints there wasn't any improvement in that and that the technician informed me that its the maximum they can provide. And if thats the case i would have taken an unlimited package which is 256kbps and anyway at the end is 60kbps So why are they cheating the customers this way. The payroll department located in Montreal is in charge of deducting court ordered Child Maintenace payments from individuals who refuse to voluntarily pay support for their children. Speedy Buys charged my bank account $149.00 without my knowledge or consent when all I did was look at their site. I never bought anything and only watched the bidding process because FOX news said it was a great site to visit for cheap purchases.
