We were contacted by Melanie, who said she was from a company that matched buyers of used cars to sellers for $199.00. My husband specifically asked the question--"What if we sell the car through another means?" (We had advertised through the newspaper.) She said that we would get all our money back minus $29, and said nothing about a 90 day waiting policy before getting our money back. This company is an online fitness equipment store. They offer what seems to be this great money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with an in home 30 day equipment trial, etc. I ordered a treadmill, was talked into a shipping upgrade that I didn't need and then the treadmill was a piece of crap, noisy, squeaky, and when I moved it found plastic shavings and rubber dust apparently from parts rubbing or grinding on each other. Ever since I have bought the phone and am on prepaid with the additional of Rs.999 scheme I am facing tremendous difficulties. I was involved in a car accident on 12-26-06 at the Westfield shopping mall in Arcadia, CA. I was waiting for a parking space. A car in back of me tried to pass me, but she miscalculated and ran into my car. My driver side taillight was hit, her mirror on her passenger side of the car fell off and was dangling by a cord. In a hurry to check out of the Mission Bay Resort on 6-15-08, I left several items of clothing hanging in the closet of our room number 630. The next day, I realized I had forgot the clothes in the closet and immediately called the hotel. What a nightmare it was dealing with this company! Please do your research people, because this company is not worth the hassle! I placed an order for a whole new outfit of DJ equipment. I and my wife bought single premium policies from LIC agent who confirmed us that it should be single premium with income tax saving and there will not be any deduction of charges .It can be realized after a year or later. Yet another scam that claims you signed up for their service and start billing you for it, even though you don't have it and never had it! Boy, these people are ballsy. I see others were charged $19.95 a month. I was charged $9.95 for three months. Didn't notice until the third billing ... That $9.95 was flying under the radar. I called them, complained and "cancelled" my "membership." Also filed complaint with my credit card company.
