Carlton Pools in PA built our pool 3.5 uyears ago. The tiles on the Hot tub are falling off. Of course the warranity was for three years, and our pool has been running for 3.5 years. What a scam. We are not rich people, and this pool was a major investiment for us We thought we picked a good company. Think twice before you pick Carlton. Two months ago I purchased a brand new Samsung 19' HDTV with the "no hassle" replacement plan. I was told by the sales associate that if I had any problems, I bring it in the store and they give me a BRAND NEW one. I went to return it, and the manager told me "they no longer honor the warranty I paid for". What a load of crap! I paid $70 for nothing. Bought this sink 9 years ago and it started rusting after five years. It has now rusted completely out around the edges and is started to rust on the double sink tub part now. Totally disgusted. I purchased a Toshiba 40RF350U LCD HD TV from American Electronics in Peoria, IL Dec. 20th 2007. I got the TV home and noticed after it was up to operating temp. the upper right hand corner was lighter in fact it looked like a small flood lamp shinning down at a 45 degree angle. On March 4, 2008, I purchased with bank draft a whirlpool washer and dryer. The washer was not in stock and would be in four weeks. April 04, 2008 I made arrangement to have the washer delivered at a specific location in the city. I took my vechicle in to have the pinion bearing replaced. They had already done my brakes for me twice and fixed my transmission ring before, so I thought they were okay. Unfortunately, the boss was away on vacation, and the person that did my work tried to scam me this time. They had quoted me $250-$300, and one day of working on it. This company is bogus... They call you on the phone, tell you that it will help your crediyt score and yadda yadda yadda, they say you get a credit card for up to $2500, with a $250 deposit. What they dont tell you is that its only good at their website, and their products... then you still have to pay a pecentage of money before you can even get your products if you order something. After speaking with c/s rep. & c/s Supervisor, they initally had refused to reimburse 89.31, due to conditions of trial terms, you must call within 14 days to cancel or your money automatically taken.. In a newspaper advertising section, I cut out form completing information and sending a check #4641 to Dream Products, Inc. for $8.97 for a triple stretch comfort bra. The check was sent on 2/05/08 and cashed on 2/16/08, yet I never received the bra. Heres the info from the people that stayed there. On our trip to Jamaica in March, we stayed at the Riu in Negril. The first night there they upgraded us to a suite and someone entered our room while we were sleeping and stole our travelers checks out of the safe. I have requested a refund from these people 2 times by live chat at www.idtheftrefund.com. I never used their service!!! I answered a payday loan e-mail online and now these people are tacking money out of my checking acct.! They denied my request for a refund on may 9. We took a trip with Overseas Adventure Travel. The trip to Croatia was wonderful, however the return trip was a nightmare. We were delayed in Dulles airport for over 40 hours, could not get a plane back and had to go home on AMTRAK. We have submitted claims to both the travel company as well as to Dulles, no resolve. This club is taking people's money and promising a new club. This has been going on for two years and yet there is no new facility. They will take your membership money and make you pay a capitol improvement fee, but there are no improvements. On 12/15/2007 subscriptions for 3 different magazines were made, MagHeaven immediately charging my credit card at that time. Each recipient was mailed a gift subscription card announcing they would be receiving a years subscription to a magazine.
