Ecost.com is a very poor site to buy products from. You may get a very good price but their return policies prevent you from returning any product even if defective. This entire purchase has been a nightmare. They damaged the doorframe bringing in the refrigerator, one man came to install the microwave and dented the vent(chipped the cabinet, also), the control panel on the microwave never was right and it took THREE months to get a new one, the person that installed the dishwasher left the hose too long and when another person came to fix that-he broke the soap dispenser! Had surgery at St Francis Mooresville campus on 12/11/06. After "numerous" phone calls from myself to the hospital to obtain a "correct" bill, I finally received an accurate billing statement dated 1/1/08. I purchased a battery for my Dell computer. It failed within a few months and they sent me a replacement (after numerous efforts to reach them went unanswered). That battery failed within a few weeks. They promised a refund when we sent that one back but instead they sent another battery! That one also failed immediately. There is a crack on my Sterling (same company with Kohler) bathtub I bought from Lowe's. I was suggested a wrong treatment. Antibiotics should do with the pain I had. I was suggested root canal treatment. I was overcharged 8 times than what I had to pay. I purchased a sub zero 601 stand alone freezer unit new in march 2002. The unit was delivered defective. many different problems cropped up over the years. Blown defrost heater coil, ice maker malfunction, outer seal leaks. The unit has been serviced more than 25 times in less than 6 years with an average mean time between failure of approx. 3 mos.
