4 weeks ago I sent in jewelry and wedding bands already appraised in value, hoping for some cash as it is badly needed. Ad said when received check will be sent. Recently read some letters of people being ripped off with fake checks. Where did they get those people to advertise receiving checks in the mail. Is no one honest anymore. Several channels were recently removed from regular programming and placed on "available via cable box rental". Cablevision explains that the channels in question were no longer being transmitted analog and only digital transmission was available. My response: " I purchased Digital TVs with digital receivers". Telus offered the Connect 75 Unlimited wireless data plan. Data bandwidth per month was clearly defined as "Unlimited". So we subscribed to this service and paid full-price for the hardware (not under contract). Well, apparently Telus thinks that "Unlimited" means just 5GB per month. Ordered £300 worth of clothing, recieved an email saying the items had been shipped and was sent a bogus TNT tracking number and was told it would take 2-3 days to be live on their system (the same time it takes funds to clear). As the tracking link was for TNT China (when the products were being shipped from Australia) I was suspicious. Called TNT, the tracking number and company don't exist. Word of advice, if you buy online use your credit card because at least the transaction can be blocked and you can get your money back.
