The company called me to update my business listing in the phone book and voice verified my free listing and then thru in a service very discreetly that I didn't know I would be charged for and read it off so fast, I didn't know it happend. Then they charged me $42.15 on my bill (which I called and cancelled--but they said I had agreed to this service). In September, Citizen offered a dual policy for both Wind Storm and Property Insurance at less than precious Property Insurance Coverage. I took the hook without complaint. Countrywide discovered the lapse. Forced me to pay for it AFTER THE FACT. I believe Insurance is Purchased for Pending Problems. Not when the insurer knows they won't have to pay a claim. This company has harrased me and refused to take me off there call list. Although I've repeatedly asked them to take me off there call list they continue to call and harrass me daily. I called a total of 22 times, and spoke with at least 6 different representatives that I have their names, and they continued to hang up on me. I purchased a HP notebook computer for ~$990 and a Circuit City Advantage Protection Plan (4 yrs.) for ~$395. The plan would take care of the repair of the laptop and replace it if they were unable to repair it. Buying the notebook and protection plan was a BIG mistake. Bug Out was hired to spray my house for pests once a month. What ever they used didn't work, they had to keep coming out to spray for ants 2x a month every month. Our water was shut off in between paydays. it took us 2 days to borrow the money to have the water turned back on. after reviewing the bill and calling the water company we were informed there was a 30.00 reconnect fee. I had purchased a USB retractable cable with iPod connector. I could not get it to connect to my iPhone without risk of damage, so I wanted to return it. The employee claimed there was nothing wrong with it and that I would have to pay the 15% restocking fee. iPod & iPhone connectors are supposed to be compatible. He stated it only said iPod on the package, not iPhone. I told him to prove that the connectors were different, but he declined to even ask another tech or look it up. When one books into the Hilton, one expects a certain level of integrity, and an oasis in a foreign country. In Alexandria, Egypt one is being charged 450 USD per month for a 'high speed' internet connection. Steep. But especially infuriating when one finds that it's NOT a high speed connection at all, and even the provider admits that the line to the hotel is far too slow but, apparently, the hotel management refuse t upgrade to the right speed, even though they are making a fortune from the service. I own two homes; both with inground pools. I used American Craftsmen Pool for openings and closings of my pools plus any repairs needed. In 2006 both my pools went green and couldn't be cleared up. I actually had to close them down in July because the water would not go blue. In 2007 I switched pool companies and guess what? They had my pools clean and clear with a simple filter cleaning. Turns out American Craftsmen wasn't cleaning the filter like I was paying them for. I've had to fight American Craftsmen in court for the last two years to get my wasted money back.
