In late December 1999 I purchased a phone and Omnipoint cellular service through AAA Autoease. The ad specified a Motorola flip phone, and the AAA person indicated the service area to include the entire state of NJ, 5 boroughs in NY and parts of CT. The ad stated $9.95 to purchase phone. I have a problem with World Connections Travel aka Med Resorts International. I have had this membership and I use that term loosely, for a couple of years and have YET to able to use it. I object to the practice of many vendors to charge a customer's credit card at the time of a purchase, even though delivery may be delayed by month or more. I placed an order with BuyItNow.com on 02/17/00 for goods totaling $600. On 03/10/00, I discovered that the order may not be shipped until 03/17/00 and that another 5 to 7 days would be required for shipping. Yet, my credit card was billed for the order on 02/17/00. UACC is charging excessive interest rates to people. I bought my car from what turned out to be a shady car dealership. Little behold they were working with shady laon companies too... They sent me the paper on my loan about two weeks after the purchase and the interest rate was a whopping 21%. I have a famly plan with 4 phones and always chose Nokia for their durability for the past 7 years(at least 25 nokia phone over those years). Florida Fireplace is unethical and does not stand behind their word. Florida Fireplace recommended a Peterson gas ring with electronic controls to convert my brick wood burning fire pit to natural gas. They stated in their written quote that "the Peterson set up is designed (and tested) for your application". First of all, they never answer their phone, so it is almost impossible to talk to someone in person. All you can do is send them an email, and they choose whether to call or email you back. There was a confusion about delivery, and they said they would contact the shipper, and then obviously never did, as the item did not get delivered. They had to ship it out again a week later. Used cooking oil purchased for production of biodiesel was heavily contaminated with degreaser. This contamination created large amounts of gasses and caused swelling of flexitank and extensive damage of shipping container. Also when made into biodiesel, producer reported extensive damage was caused to vehicles engine injectors due to degreaser contamination. I booked an excursion from Shoretrips.com for a cruise I recently took on Voyager of the Seas, (Royal Carribean) leaving Barcelona last month. It was $225 to take a train to Rome from the Cittavechhia port, for one day to be escorted by a tour guide to see the Colisuem, etc. etc. The trip also included a modestly valued lunch. Their only interest is whether they can sell you the "plan" for $442 or the one for $513. Transmission needed repaired 3 times, each time I called transparts and either got the run around about that Scott Yaslow was out of town, not in the office or would call me back. The time he did call back he lied and said he would make everything right, he would call my technician, he never did and when they called him he was rude, said we were trying to scam him and take advantage of him, and other times they just plain hung up on us. I am a tenant of Simco management properties located in the Grove City. I have to say this apartment very much lacks proffessionalism. I have two small babies aged between 3 and 4. Today I paid a collection agency for a bill that was never mine just to keep it off my credit rating. I cancelled our service with webhosting on the telephone in August 2007 as they were too difficult to contact and usually had to wait on hold for over a half our at a time just to speak to a customer service representative. We had a furnace installed 10/07 by an aquaintance, Tim Powell, who has his own company. It was an emergency and money was short. Tim installed a used furnace and redid our duct work. It took him 2 days to complete the job. The furnace was fine last year but when the AC was turned on the furnace leaked. After several phone calls and a hostile return call from Tim's wife, he came out to look at it. We would not finish paying him until he corrected the problem that was his mistake.
