AE Factory technician came to our home to repair a washer. He was unable to repair and needed to order parts. Our timeframe was from 8-12. We called eight times from 12:00-5:30 before anyone would return our call. When the technicians arrived, they stated that it was the wrong parts before they even opened the boxes. This is a scam. They will not honor their return policy I followed all the instructions of their return policy. This was over a month ago. Still no refund. There are several versions of this scam going around. The 3 most common names are Oliver Straw, Max Gay, and Mark Bill. These people do not exist. They will book a guide for several days. Then after the guide has booked the days they will tell the guide that their booking agent can only write one check so they will send a Certified Cashiers Check to the guide, and ask him to send the rest on to the individual. I requested a debit card for my new account because they forgot to do it, and instead i received a CREDIT CARD by mail. The BCM (Gregory) denied tha fact that i never requested the credit card so we had to talk to his regional manager. Both were unprofesional, we felt neglected and very frustrated. Also we requested back in Feb 09 for our checking acct to be linked to our savings acct for overdraft protection, but unfortunaltely that never happened either. I want to let you know that the way Tme Warner process new accounts they help the crook fraud people. What they do is take a phone call from someone that gives a name and SSN over the phone and Time warner checks that name and SSN and if that person has good credit they set up an account in that persons name. Then that person gets cable for months and does not pay. However, that telemarketing call stated that I would receive the sample package of services provided to sort through and decide which I wanted to accept and receive. We found a foreclosure and submitted an offer-of course it was accepted in 3 days, we were signing papers and submitting all the necessary paperwork and securing our loan. These guys are a total joke. The website clearly states that they will refund 100% of your money back within 30 days if you are unhappy for any reason. The shoes I bought simply did not fit right and it wasn't the size. They just weren't comfortable. I was called about being able to lower my interest rates on credit cards. The person that called (Brenda Hayes) said that they work directly with the credit card companies and can get rates lowered. I was told that they get on the line with me with the credit card companies (because they need my approval) and get my rates lowered.
