I bought a Netgear FA120 wired USB network adapter in January 2006. It had a 5 year warranty... which would cover it through January 2011. It functioned perfectly until a month ago, so I called Netgear Customer Support to get an RMA. I was informed that they no longer support the device and that they did not have a suitable replacement, and could do NOTHING for me. Basically the five year warranty is USELESS! You may want to just see if the CSR can help you before you begin with your impolite manner. It is a form of abuse to act like this way to someone who has to take it. If you were in public, you could very well by cited for disorderly conduct. Perhaps the laws need to change. Everyone now knows that there was the possibility of your food being spit on in the kitchen by the waitress when you were rude to her. In Oct. 2004, I bought a Sears 5 h.p. 22" Snowthrower (made by MTD) and found one flat tire in 2006. Sears replaced the tire under warranty. Then in 2009, both tires gone flat. No warranty but to buy two new wheel assemblies (tire w/rim) at $43 each. The Sears rep told me that they sell several of them weekly and that's why they have (13) of them in stock. I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna that is in great shape and that is being kept in great shape with service records at the local dealership. The Emission test was required at the time of plate renewal.
