I have a douglas tire with 80% tread and it has a large knot on the side wall that looks like a bomb waiting to go off. I don't have my recipt so wal-mart says they will not do anything. I have never had a tire do this before and been driving for 30 years.I have used Douglas tires before with fair sucess. They are cheap tires with a very thin side wall. If they will not stand behind a tire that has 80% tread and is about to blow out then I am not buying anymore tires from Douglas. I purchased an HP DV4T laptop computer at the end of July 2009. I have been unable to install a brand new HP printer on the DV4T. At first HP thought the printer was the problem. We used Donna Godwin of Main Street Design in Purcellville, Va for a bathroom renovation. The tile work was substandard. The shower has leaked through to my office ceiling which is underneath the bathroom and now the toilet that was reinstalled was installed with broken parts and without making the pipe longer to accommodate the raised height of the floor. I just purchased a new car and was sold the Lojack system. Also a Lojack Guarantee Plus 5000 Warrenty. It was sold to me as, if and when my car is stolen Lojack will pay me $5, 000.00. I purchased an extended warranty from the Warranty Group through CarMax, after a fair amount of pressuring. Shortly before my contract was about to expire, my transmission failed. My mechanic contacted the warranty people, who sent an inspector to look at my vehicle. I keep impeccable servce records, so they had no choice but to honor the claim. I am a current employee of lowes. I have extensive major appliance sales experience with various companies in commission based positions as like my current position. But what I have found out recently really disturbed me and may even be illegal. Competitors like SEARS pay their associates commission no matter what the selling price is, a flat 2-3% commission. I had always worked on my own car until I could not do my front brakes my self due to the special design. The brake rotors will not come off normally for resurfacing in order to fix steering wheel shimmy. They must be pressed off and on and the bearing is damaged and must be replaced. Marlboro still uses Julian date code system on their cigarette packs. The code printed on bottom of pack should have a letter, then a 3 digit Julian date, followed by a letter, then a number which is the last number of the year manufactured. This should be "0" for cigarettes produced in 2010. If it is "9" you are buying cigarettes from last year, likely stale unless vacuum sealed in freezer storage, which is unlikely.
