Chennai - Alleppey Express runs between these two locations daily and full to its capacity almost everyday. Still the facilities provided are pathetic with age old compartments, stinking toilets, torn seats etc etc. I travelled by this train on 29th of September from Chennai central to Alwaye. I went to get my car serviced. In the evening after I got my car from the service center and was going home, the brake simply jammed the vehicle. I was unable to move the vehicle on the 3rd gear and there was some burning smell coming from the vehicle. I called up the service center but it had closed its operations for that day.
