The email went on to state that the boots were UGGS, and what the company was about. I thought WOW! This email was 01/19/2011. The money on my credit card was taken out on 01/19/2011. Our area suffered a widespread power failure beginning during the late evening hours of Tuesday, February 1, 2011 and our power was restored at approximately 9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. I bought a 2008 Cadillac SRX at Balise Chevy in Warwick, RI and had nothing but issues with the car. The car has been taken to the Cadillac dealership for repairs 7 times since we've owned the car and we only have owned the car for 5 months. I pressed a button for free trial offer and found out that I had signed up for the program of them sending me cartridges every month and charging me 99.95 a month to sign up and 59.95 a month for the cartridges which I do not want. I was getting the trial offer for my brother to try and quit smoking. I do not even smoke and do not want to be involved in this program. I paid the 4.95 trial offer, and I am done with these scammers. This company should be banned from doing business on the internet. Ira Woods & Sons has failed to ship a 6.5" Shun Classic Nakiri kitchen knife ordered more than 8 weeks ago. The original ship estimate on irawoods.com was listed at 48 hours. First complaint resulted in a response from customer service that the item would not ship for 2 weeks. More than 8 weeks and several complaints later, the company has "adjusted" the estimated ship date twice, refused 3 requests for a refund, and repeatedly avoided correcting what's become a very bad situation. Today I received a bill for home phone service from AT&T, which is interesting considering I never started phone service. I have Time Warner Cable (bundled package) and have never so much as contacted AT&T to inquire about rates. I ordered 4 iron bistro chairs from St. Simon's Beach Rentals. The chairs depicted on their website were the same as iron bistro chairs sold by Horchow.com. The photos that St. Simons used were the same photos on Horchow.com as well. The chairs were supposed to have a very natural iron finish. We also had this problem, We were told that we would be charged 34$ a month for internet, they were giving us a special deal because we told them before we got it hooked up to forget it. Summerwinds sales people have a bad habit of telling the clients things that are untrue. Such as buying their timeshares for an investment, this is illegal. They also promise to buy back your timeshare, they won't. And during the "close" they will drop the price telling you they got this one back because someone upgraded, lie. Since Friday February the 4th, the apartments shutdown the water, for the entire complex, because the temperatures were below 32 degrees. The water is still not on today, Sunday February the 6th.
