Direct TV
I had direct TV installed in march of 2005. Unknown to me at the time the installation was done using my local cable carriers line. Our home owners association has a deal with the local cable company and for a small fee tacked onto our yearly dues, we get expanded basic for pennies on the dollar. Well when i called our cable company to have dsl set up, they came out and found out that the Direct TV installer had not only used their lines, which i never gave them permission for, they cut a line into my living room for faster installation... read full review »

On April 10, 2006 Closet World charged a total of 4,178.50 to my Visa Card.
On May 16, 2006 the installer from Las Vegas didn't arrive until 2:30 in the afternoon and then brought the wrong material. First he went to Home Depot. He returned a few hours later. He then... read full review »
Enfocus Photography
We had an agreement with Enfocus photography to provide a glamour photo session as a fundraiser for our Girl Scout Troop. The agreement was that we would sell coupons to customers and they would provide the photo shoot. Their policy is to send them $5 per coupon sold as a deposit. Their materials state, 'you will receive the $5 back for each sitting photographed.' Our photo shoot was scheduled on June 3, 2006. I spoke with Mr. McIver on June 6, 2006 following the photo shoot to explain to him our disappointment in the services which were... read full review »

My vacation was scheduled for July 1.2006. I initiated the replacement of my broken down refrigerator one month in advance to ensure it would be completed in time. I contacted camping world to purchase the new refrigerator and schedule the installation. I purchased the new refrigerator and was informed that there was a three week wait for the scheduled replacement and that my date was June 24. 2006.

Ford Motor Credit
I have recently applied for a mortgage, and received a copy of my current credit report. Since I was a victim of True-Name-Fraud, there were many accounts on the report that were not mine. Including one for a 99 Ford Explorer. I proceeded to call your customer service center so that I may receive a letter from your company stating that I have been erroneously reported. I spoke with 3 different customer service representatives. Each representative asked for my account number (the number was listed on my credit report)..I gave it to them, and... read full review »
GardnersChoice.com
I ordered live tomato tree plants from Gardners Choice, Hartford, Michigan in March 06. They cashed my check, and I never received the plants. I've tried calling a number of times, and they do not answer their telephone. I've sent emails and those have gone unanswered also. I checked with the Van Buren County Clerk in Paw Paw, Michigan, and found that they did not renew their business since last October 05. Sounds like a case of fraud, since they actively advertise. read full review »
FreeGiftWorld.com
I am writing to discourage anyone from getting scammed by 'FreeGiftWorld.com'
I am your average middle-class consumer who wanted to find a good deal on a DVD box set that I enjoy. After searching the web for cheap prices, I eventually took the bait of 'freegiftworld.com'
Here?s How They Get You:
1.) First, you are asked to enter your e-mail address as well as your physical address so they can ship your alleged 'FREE' gift.
2.) Second, you are asked to take a small survey of possible consumer products or services you may be... read full review »
Rave Hairspray
I have been a consumer of Rave hairspray also since as long as I can remember. A few years ago, they changed it (with a bigger nozzle) and too much comes out and makes your hair too wet. This is disaster for someone with naturally curly hair who blows it out straight. Then you spray the new Rave on it and it goes curly again....not good.
I sent a complaint then and to my surprise, they changed back to the old BETTER version. They emailed me saying that they were returning to the old because of all of the complaints they were... read full review »
Savon Furniture
I recently purchased several pieces of furniture from Savon Furniture on Washington Blvd. in Sarasota. The gentleman who sold me the furniture, Phillip, was very friendly and helpful. However, since the purchase my experience with Savon has been akin to a very bad nightmare. This is what has taken place in the last two months:
1) When I bought the furniture in Sarasota I gave Savon my cell phone number (Ithaca, NY, which is my home). The furniture was to be delivered to my father's former home in The Meadows Community. Because he... read full review »
