I figured I would write a more legitimate complaint than my last one about Blockbuster not having an adult video section in any of their stores. My Sony Grand WEGA LCD Projection TV is one of many Sony TVs with defective optical blocks. This is the main projection component costing over $1,000 to replace. Sony issued a service bulletin acknowledging they made some defective TVs with this problem. But they are refusing to stand behind the product. Many of these defective TVs only last 1 to 3 years. I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime in October '06. The people in the showroom were very friendly, really too friendly. I bought a vehicle because I needed one. I went on the Internet to find something to improve the poor performance of my computer. Regcure promised to repair all of the problems on my computer, so I purchased it and downloaded the program. I have a family plan with 3 lines. I only need only line so I contacted Verizon to ask about early termination fees for two of the lines. One contract term expires in March and the other in April. I contacted them because I understood new consumer law states they had to pro rate the fee based on the expiration date of the contract. I have been a user of Sanyo tvs for a long time but now I find that there seems to be a problem with the horizontal parts of Sanyo tvs. I have had trouble with three Sanyo TVs, first a 27", next a 36" and now my 21". On all three the horizontal has gone bad. At this moment I have 4 Sanyo TVs in my home. It appears that maybe you have a problem with the parts you are using in you TVs. We re-did our kitchen and bought six GE Profile appliances: Stove, Advantium microwave, refrigerator, washer, dryer and wine 'fridge. The large 'fridge was delivered with a bad compressor and it took 3 weeks for GE's service department to come on-site and cart the thing way and deliver its replacement. I went shopping at the IKEA store in Schaumburg, Illinois and my purse was stolen out of my cart. All I was left with was my cell phone. I lost my money, cards, and my only set of apartment keys and car keys. I'm once again trying Firefox. I keep reading reviews on it, on how good it is and I see all the extensions you can use with it, that you can't use with Avant Browser. Firefox is slow compared to Avant. I keep getting these reset connection errors that I never get with Avant. the 2 browsers are alot alike, they both have tabbed pages, everything generally is the same except it's slower for some reason loading pages. I guess I will once again uninstall Firefox and go back to Avant. Hopefully Avant some day will make some extensions you can use. read full review »

In August, I ordered, via the internet, one CD from Firebird Arts & Music, PO Box 30268, Portland, OR 97294 for $22.50. My VISA was double billed for this purchase, an 8/9 transaction posted on 8/10 and an 8/15 transaction posted on 8/16. Despite repeated emails and regular mail, the only response I have had was asking if I received 2 CDs. I emailed them "no" in November, and since the have had no response to my continued efforts to contact them. I thought that maybe with the takeover of Adelphia's system by Time Warner, that they would take care of the maintenance that was badly needed on the system. I subscribe to Broadcast Basic, which is the minimal amount of channels on regular (non-digital) cable. I had a horrible experience at La Spina Salon located in Mahopac, NY. My hair was ruined. I went in for a highlighting and they turned my hair a horrible mixture of yellow and reddish tones. I scheduled a Geek Squad appointment just after Christmas to set up my wireless internet connection on my Macintosh. I waited 2 weeks for appointment. When the day finally came my Geek Special Agent was an hour late. We were already off to a bad start as I left work an hour early to accommodate the appt. Bought a Sony digital camera and memory stick thru Sony Rewards. Received it in Aug, 2006. The memory stick did not fit the camera and the camera was junk. So returned them immediately. Sony refuses to refund the $250 I paid for them. I insured the mail and the USPS refuses to pay the claim. Purchased a new Maytag bottom freezer refrigerator from Lowes in June 2006. Lowes took our old refrigerator, so we kept all our cold and frozen items in freezer chests until the new Maytag had the proper temperatures. Five hours went by and the new Maytag was not cold. I purchased airline tickets through Hotwire.com for a holiday trip. The trip was cancelled by the airline and the airline agreed to refund the ticket price in late December. Hotwire refuses to refund the money to me because they are "waiting" for the airline to provide the check number of the refund. Hotwire knows how much money I paid and acknowledges that a refund was agreed to by the airline. At this point they are in possession of my original payment, plus the refund from the airline.
