All My Sons Moving and Storage
January 16, 2007
We were moving only 4.4 miles, but thought it a good idea to let professionals handle the big stuff. I saw the impressive 2-page ad for All My Sons and arranged for three men and a truck. The three men(who all spoke a little English), were shown the large items we wanted moved. The process moved very slowly as they completely mummified everything in shrink-wrap for the big four mile journey. They seemed more interested in moving the small things and had little regard for our priority for items to be moved. When my son showed them his desk to... read full review »

The Real Estate Network
January 16, 2007
My sister called and invited my husband and I to go to a meeting and learn about real estate. It is something my husband and I had been thinking about starting to invest in and so we attended the conference with them. We also invited my husbands brother, Chad, to attend with us. I had already told my husband that we were just going to listen and not buy anything, however, after listening to the conference we decided that with a ?FULL ONE HUNDRED PERCENT MONEY BACK GUARANTEE? that was sold the whole time we couldn't go wrong. I am a business owner and my mother got very sick. I had to close my business so I could take care of her. The bills for the business fell behind. I received a notice from Com Ed stating that they were going to disconnect my service if I did not pay my bill. My mother just passed away recently and I contacted Com Ed to ask them if they would work with me so I could open my business back up and send them money until I was caught up. They said that there was nothing that they could do for me because I was a business owner. I had to take all... read full review »

Blockbuster Video
January 16, 2007
I figured I would write a more legitimate complaint than my last one about Blockbuster not having an adult video section in any of their stores. First of all, Blockbuster doesn't carry ANYTHING on VHS anymore; everything is on DVD, so if you don't have a DVD player, you're screwed. But now to my main point. I recently became interested in the Rocky series after seeing the movie Rocky Balboa at the theater. So I check with not one, but THREE different Blockbusters in the area, and they only carry the first Rocky film... read full review »

Wellington Court Apartments - Decatur, GA
January 16, 2007
This is an apartment complex. The quality of service is terrible. The maintenance staff aren't dependable and very slack on their job. The apartment manager gets stressed out and very defensive when you report problems in your apartment. She doesn't care as long as it doesn't affect her. She has used money for the complex to fix up her apartment while the tenants' apartments are in bad condition. The grounds of the complex are not maintained, when it rains the hallways of the complex get flooded. My apartment has been... read full review »

See's Candies, Inc.
January 16, 2007
I was buying a box of chocolate lollypops at the same price of a box already made up. The price went up to $.60 from $.55 when sold separately. But seeing I eat one a day to keep my craving of chocolate to a minimum, I buy the whole box. Last time I paid $13.75 for the made up box, and today they wanted $18.75. I was aghast. If the price does not go down, I will have to look elsewhere for my craving habit. They were $.50 not too long ago. The price keeps going up. But my allowance doesn't and I am a senior, senior, so that is why I... read full review »

HP 517 Digital Camera
January 16, 2007
I had a HP 517 digital camera that would not take more than 3 or 4 pictures before the "battery dead" message appeared and it shut down. Sometimes turning it off then on again would "revive" it. Using regular alkaline AA batteries would't work - they caused the camera to shut down when I tried to take the very first picture. I called HP and after holding for quite a while each time, I had to talk to 9 different people in 3 sessions, most who's command of English was marginal. I had to fax in proof of purchase... read full review »

January 16, 2007
I have had to replace two ELCs Air Compressors in my Deville, within a two year period. I wrote letters to the executive office. The executive assistant refuses to address my concerns. Black & Decker Power Tools
January 16, 2007
Black & Decker used to mean quality in home appliances and you could feel good about purchasing their products. This Quick N Easy food processor is garbage. Cheap, poorly manufactured plastic pieces and nobody gave any thought to the "convenient" spout which spews product all over the counter when you try to use it. Maybe if you had a container the size of the kitchen sink to catch whatever you're trying to shred... The main problem, however, is the locking lid. Cheap, cheap, cheap! Gorman & Associates Home Loans
January 16, 2007
On November 9th 2006 I applied for a home refinance. I used an internet mortgage search engine. I received 8 offers and I chose the best offer. I informed Kyle of Gorman & Assoc. of this and he laughed at the other offer and know I am quoting "they should be embarrassed if this is the best they can do". So I chose him based on my pre-approval status and "high credit score" he stated we could be done in as little as two weeks. All documents were in last piece was the appraisal he got it on 12-13-06. I made the call back and was greeted and explained how my loan would be paid back, and how I soon I would receive the funds. I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime in October '06. The people in the showroom were very friendly, really too friendly. I bought a vehicle because I needed one. If I could have purchased the same vehicle new, it would have cost me less. The price I paid for the '01 Ford Focus was a rip-off. The bluebook on the vehicle was $3300 less than what I paid for it.
