I have never met such an incompetent bunch of people as Comcast Cable TV. I am forever having to call them to fix their poor service in my North Dallas area. On 01/05/07 I ordered a 42 inch Hisense LCD HDTV from Tiger-Direct. This TV arrived via UPS on 01/11/07. The problem starts here. The TV had no display, just audio. We purchased 2005 Chrysler town and country, heard intermittent rubbing sounds when backing up since new. I went to Chrysler dealer ( THREE RIVERS CHRYSLER PITTSBURGH, PA.) to have rubbing noise checked as it was getting more frequent van has (13,113 miles). I bought a Black Widow Scooter from the above company as a Christmas present for my son. The scooter basically fell apart on Christmas Day. Among other things, the seat broke off when my son was riding it, and he fell and was injured. We had been shopping for a new washer and dryer for quite some time. We decided that we liked the Kenmore High Efficiency washers, but were waiting for a good time to buy. You buy a bed, you have no payments no interest for 1 year, but if you don't read the fine print and don't pay it off in full by your promotional due date - by the way they send you a bill after your due date has passed, you have to pay all of the interest you have incurred for an entire year! The other day I needed to talk to TurboTax support for help taking advantage of a online discount through bank of America. At the start of the call they ask for your name and email address. That took 12 minutes. They could not listen to the letters I was saying, and say it back to me. My email address is short, 8 characters. I received several phone calls on my cell phone and finally told the guy to remove my name/ph number from his list and he laughed and said I couldn't do that....I hung up on him. Ever since (approx 5 days) I receive calls from the company from 800-266-9420 and noone is there. They call about once an hour. I tried calling that number to complain and the call will not go thru. I received just this morning another shipment of pills from this company after telling them to stop and also telling them the pills made me violently sick! The first shipment came after ordering a sample from them, then having my bank account number, they were able to withdraw 149.95 from it! What's in the pills anyway? $40 cash back Gas rebate was promised when I agreed to look at the info. When info was received gas rebate card was not enclosed, but I was told that I had to apply for the Gas rebate card online. When I attempted to access the site on line, the result was that there is no such website. We bought a Maytag Performa a few years ago, maybe 5. For a couple of years now it has continually gone off balance and strangely it does not shut itself off like the other washers we have had in the past. Bang, bang, bang until you get to the washer. My complaint is from a consumer point of view. I recently purchased a pack of Marlboro mediums and over half of the cigarettes in it were short on tobacco. One was over a quarter of the way empty. Do not use Sears Home Central for any home repair work. I contracted with them for an air conditioner in June. The unit was installed after the promised time on the contract which is not actually the complaint. They promised to obtain the necessary permits which was never done. We have lived at this address for 26 years. In 2006, our 2005 tax W2s were sent back to our employers. This caused an extended delay in our tax refund and subsequent plans for vacation. I had ordered a camera on Nov. 26th 2006 online using a credit card. I called a week later to determine why my order had not been processed. Unknown to me there is a required confirmation call on the customers part. Finally the order was processed over the phone. My camera arrives on Dec. 10th 2006. I concur with others who have had bad experiences with Wilmington Finance or their loan servicing division - Morequity. I would not recommend doing business with them. While I was aware of the 3-year prepayment penalty provision when I signed the loan from Wilmington Finance, I did not realize the inconvenience and magnitude of a penalty of 5% of the remaining balance.
