My ex-husband, opened up a NEW account with JC Penney after our divorce. We were divorced 11/5/04 and the account was opened 12/04. Previously in our marriage, we had had a joint JC Penney account. This was a NEW account, with a NEW account number. My ex husband has never disputed that he opened this account for himself ONLY. He was sent ONLY one card with his name on it and it was sent to his address only. He filed bankruptcy in Oct. of 2005 and the charges were discharged. My husband had a credit card that was past due. After he passed away, I was attempting to resolve all of his and my outstanding debts. When I called the credit card bank, I was told that this account was already placed into collections with IC Systems and they gave me their phone number to call. My first contact with ICS went very smoothly. This video store is owned and run by very rude people, carrying ILLEGAL COPIES of movies that don't work in most sophisticated DVD players. They are rude on the phone, and tell consumers to go elsewhere if their movie COPIES don't work in their DVD players. Two years ago we purchased a laptop from Best Buy and also bought the extended service plan. About six months ago the laptop monitor began to crack, and we took it to the store and spoke to the geek squad. At that time they told us that this is a common problem with the hinges on the laptops but that it wasn't covered under our warranty because it is considered "accidental damage". Bank of America Visa Billing System
There are three practices of their billing system that increase the likelihood of its customers making late payments. This increases BofA profits but ruins the credit of its own customers.
1. They have shortened the billing cycle to 20 days instead of thirty days. This is according to their customer service rep. My statement still says 30 days.
2. The Payment Center is across the country where regular mail takes 5-10 days.

The Third Watch DVD series that seen me was useless. The package was damaged when it arrived. One case inside was damaged. Of the DVD's I looked at and tried playing; one was scratched, one wouldn't play at all, and the audio wasn't with the video on two that I did play. I didn't tray all of the discs because that was enough for me to know I didn't want them.

I recently had my hair colored at Zoran's hair salon in Manhattan, on Lexington Avenue (bet. 47th & 48th). Before I even sat in the chair, I asked how much it would be. Zoran himself quoted a price to me.

I visited the Regency Furniture Store in Largo on April 12,2007. I saw a bedroom set that caught my eye, so I put the set on layaway. The set was a 1,300 dollar set. The following day I went out and did some shopping and saw a set at another store that I purchased and I went back to Regency to cancel my layaway. I was informed that they would give me a refund minus a 10% charge.

We bought a 42" plasma TV from SEARS for our children's bedroom On January 31,2007 the TV lasted a little over a month, it just quit working! I tried to take the TV back to the store where i was told that i would have to pay a 15% restocking fee
(on a broken TV). Sears then told me to have a tech look at it because if it could not be fixed then I would get a new TV! It took over a month to get my parts and have it serviced. They serviced my TV on 4/12/07 guess what? the TV does not work it needs a new board.

When my family first visited MOR furniture we totally fell in love with a bedroom set but an aggressive salesman chased us out with his quick double talk and price changes. After looking around we returned and asked for a different sales person, we got the Manager who helped us fine.

This is an internet business called Privacy Matters (www.privacymatters.com). Sometime in April 2 I tried to get what was called a "free" credit report. I proceeded to fill out the information because it is required before I can get my credit report.
When I received my credit card bill, I was charged two different fees, $1 and $29.95. When I called to ask about this they said I had enrolled into their program to receive credit reports. I said that I did not enroll I was only checking my credit report.

CIC Triple Advantage, CA
I have never had any deal with the CIC Triple Advantage, but they charge membership/service fee from my Capital One credit card which I never authorized or signed any membership agreement . I called twice to dispute that charges, cancelled everything, and asked them to inform me. My last contact with CIC Triple Advantage was 4/14/2007, and their representative RAZ told me call back again next day, or Monday, because their computer system is out of order and he cannot help me. That kind of attitude has nothing with normal service and looks like a fraud.

On April 3 there was an attempt to present an unauthorized charge of 49.95 against my checking acc0unt. Because there was not enough funds my bank charged me $22.00 NSF then on April 6 check number 9999 was presented again and paid... It was not authorized and I never even heard of these people... We booked a trip with BookIt to Cozumel Mexico. The have been given exclusive prices and have representatives at the Park Royal Hotel who help get you into a scam situation. Antonio, their representative told us to stay there and go to thier presentation. The hotel had Royal Holiday people all over you. It also had cruise ships parked in front blocking the ocean view and blasting horns at 5 and 6 in the morning. Of course, they don't tell you that when you book with them.
