Bottom Line Books keeps sending their annual book despite notes sent to the on the prior bill. These books are unsolicited and there is no apparent way to stop delivery. According to others in this predicament, if you fail to pay for this unsolicited book they threaten to mess up your credit report. The heating element on our Maytag Neptune dryer stopped working. It has taken 3 service visits and multiple parts to have them tell me that they don't think the dryer is the problem... they say there isn't enough electricity coming out of the outlet to power the heating element. Funny, there has been enough for 2 dryers in the last 13 years! Why couldn't they figure this out of the first visit? I received several emails from multiple people that all stated the same thing. Namely that I had won the U.K. National Lottery. I did some research and found that other people had been taken by these scammers and had sent checks to the so-called courier company but then never saw anything back. Two years ago, this coming Feb., my wife and I got two cell phones from Sprint. I got what I thought was the replacement plan. The store rep assured us that this was all we needed. I was involved in a car accident on May 19, 2007. I was rear ended by a commercial box truck driven by Lanta Kitchen and Bath. My car flipped end over end and landed on its top in the middle of the I-75 S, in Ga. The box truck was cited for the whole accident. I ordered a phone from this company about 2 months ago. The phone itself was about $75. And the shipping was $20. So i spent $95. They sent me a phone completely in spanish. Funds from my checking account with my credit union(PFCU) in Philadelphia are being deducted without my authorization. I had paid $1.97 for grant search assistant for a cd for shipping and handling and then it was canceled. Since then Network Agenda made 2 charges on 11-5-07+ 10-9-07 both dates for $9.95 each time, BSM/SBA Express on 10-2--07=$7.95, GSB/SBA express on 10-4-07=$7.95 and Grant Writers Assistant on 9-4-07 for $5.95. I need help. I ordered a pair of Nike Air Force One sneakers advertised on the above named site. Cost was 59.99 and 11.64 shipping for a total of $71.63. Used my Visa and the amount was deducted from my checking but I never received the sneakers. When I go onto their website, it now lists a different site and name altogether. We ordered a chair and ottoman from Gately's store on October 9, 2007 and received an order confirmation. Our credit card was charged on the same day. I sent numerous e-mails to them and received no responses. I was able to contact them on the phone and was advised that the item was on back order and would ship on the first week in November. I received a check in the mail for $2,650.00 that looks very real with watermarks, signed signature, etc. The check is from Johnson Woolen Mills, LLC in Johnson, Vermont. The letter attached with the check is from Union Financial Trust stating that this is my check and that I have an additional chance to win $73,500 in US dollars. I purchased an HP computer in August, 2006. In October of this year the monitor began to blur and become wavy. At time it was not usable. I tried all trouble shooting suggestions that came with the computer. As a last resort I called tech support only to be told "sorry, it is 1 month out of warranty, can't do anything; guess you will have to buy a new one". In August I authorized a 99 cent charge for a short trial of Grant Masters. I checked it out and called in my cancellation and had the woman verify multiple times it would not charge me further. Oct, 23, a 9.95 charge appeared on my card which subsequently made my card overlimit, with an additional $39 overlimit fee. These people are cons, frauds and criminal to my thinking.
