How in the world is it possible for someone to steal a traveler's digital camera from their baggage? This camera was a Christmas present from us to our son. He packed it in his suitcase for his honeymoon only to find it gone (case still there) once they, him and his new wife, got to their destination in Costa Rica. Like the lady who complain of being charge of $7.95 out of my bank account unauthorized charge. I call them twice to stop charging me of that amount from my account. They continual to charge me. My comment is. Have the bank security block bms/sba from debiting out of your account,or close your checking account to open a new one. Be careful who you give your checking number to. I apologize if I appear to ramble but I am very frustrated. HP technical support is a falicy and they have no integrity advertising customer support when you purchase their products. In no way do I have a problem with people from other countries providing technical support but there are limits like basic communications skills and simply understanding your questions. For my birthday my children bought me a "my life - digital photo keychain". Apparently it works only with Microsoft and not with Mac. I e-mailed the company and asked if they could send software compatible with my Mac. I have received no word. I cannot return it because the kids bought it themselves and didn't keep a receipt. I, too, fell for the "$4.99 free sample" of Phenterthin. There was no "small print" stating that I would subsequently receive two more bottles (of a pill I cannot take because of high blood pressure) and have $149.95 taken out of my checking account. Joined Peak Fitness on Robinhood Rd. in Winston Salem, NC in November 05 and after 6 months wanted to cancel, but could not according to the contract I had 24 months before I could cancel. Have not used facility for 18 months but had to continue to pay. Then after 24 months were up, once again tried to cancel and was informed of the fine print on the contract which states you must allow 60 notice for cancellation. I signed up for a 30-day free-trial membership in July 2007 for a green tea supplement called PowerTea via their web site WWW.POWERTEA.COM. In my case this company has done nearly everything wrong. I used this account for Lasik surgery, which did not work. I was not told when billing would start. I received a phone call saying my first bill was past due and I explained I had not gotten a bill. I was told another would be issued. When that one came it had a very high finance charge and late fee. I did not feel either were justified. I recently filed an employee application out at a Papa Johns Pizza in Memphis TN. to deliver pizza. They asked for proof of insurance and I provided it for them. I booked at flight from DTW to LAS for 3 passengers on Spirit. We were at DTW waiting on our flight, when I noticed my brother was nervous as he hadn't flown in 30 years (I fly often, but not on Spirit). So, I asked to upgrade to first class. I bought a GTX Xpress Cooker, which we paid for in full, I paid extra for a cookbook. This was sent to our Address in North Carolina. We live in Bermuda so we made sure we were at our US address to get shipment. Within a year of owning the Cuisinart coffeemaker DTC 975 series, I had it replaced once; the second pot malfunctioned within 2mos. Total cost of shipping on my part approx. $20. for each replacement. Told by Co. rep. out of thousands of coffeemakers there may be 50 defective. I of course received two of them. It was on one of the first weekends that Fina opened in Los Altos. As I was making my purchase, I accidentally knocked over a jewelry stand near the register. One of the owners, Ron Barajas, loudly sighed and went to pick up the items that fell. I thought that was really rude of him. On an opening weekend, you would think you would be extra nice to your customers. They screwed up the original order. They did one tape right, apologized, then produced faulty DVDs, which I returned with the original tapes for reprocessing. They appear to have lost the precious tapes entrusted to them for transfer of reminiscences by now dead grandparents of what their lives were like and the changes they saw. I work for a California county child support office and I have been receiving phone calls from this collection agency and previous ones for approximately 4 years. This is over a phone bill that is for someone I do not know and gave my office number as their contact number. I have explained several times and I guess they think I am lying.
