We arrived on Saturday afternoon at Orlando Airport and had a reservation for a compact car from Alamo Rental Car. The price of the rental was $108.00, I also prepaid for a full tank of gas which for the compact car was $30.00. We were staying at one of the Disney resorts so would not be driving more than about a 100 miles in total, but the $30.00 was worth it to not have to stop and fill up on the way back to the airport. I received an automatic phone call reminding me about an extended automobile warranty. I never bought a warranty nor did I recently purchase a vehicle. My biggest mistake was sending them a check instead of using a credit card. At least with a credit card you can dispute the charges. Last month I got a statement from Advanta for $4032. I paid immediately $3932 leaving a $100 balance. This month they charged me $36 in interest fees. Is this legal? Banks and Visa/Master Card charge the merchants about 3% on sales charged to (Rewards Cards) like the one I had. so they from my advanta card purchases over $120 last month. My mother bought a van and my girlfriend acted as cosigner. But immediately, Wells Fargo switched the buyer and cosigner. So now, my girlfriend has a $30,000 van on her credit and is unable to even get a new credit card. We faxed the original contract to Wells Fargo 3times (once from within the bank) and they claim that they can't change the buyer/cosigner status because the underwriters are the one's who changed it. This apartment complex scams when upon move in... they advise you just have to pay the non-refundable deposit... but when you move out... you are slammed with hundreds of charges. They make you pay for painting... every month you are living there, you are charged $13.89... which is never told upon move-in. I have bought the Sears Kenmore HE3 Elite Electric Dryer 5 years ago. Door handle keeps breaking off and I keep replacing it. Sometime it breaks within days. It is a faulty design. On January 12, 2008 I was billed through my debit card for $59.99 for an order of Heart Guardian. I had not heard of Heart Guardian, nor have I ever placed an order for it. I do use Viapro, a male enhancement supplement, which I found on a website called themenschoice.com. This website, as I found out, also advertises Heart Guardian. The only product I have ever used my debit card to order online is Viapro. I have complained to Viapro (yesterday) but haven't heard from them. Purchased two ipod transmitter/chargers for Christmas from this company. The sound is VERY distorted while playing music from your ipod in the car. I have emailed, faxed, and called MULTIPLE times. In the fine print of the 'agreement' they commit you to automatic and unending renewal of service at $39.95 a month if you don't cancel within the three days. I ordered this product for Christmas: Get Smart Complete Series. I was quite disappointed when it finally came. Several episodes are corrupted (start but don't play to the end). One entire DVD ended up being episodes of "Spencer for Hire!" "TVLand" appears in the bottom right corner of all the episodes, indicating to me that this has been taped off cable. They have never responded to my requests for clarification on these matters. I am happy to have the majority of the episodes but not at the expense of the creators of the show. I took my cat there, he was blocked, it costs me 700.00 for 1 over night stay, they sent him home on Saturday because they were closing and would be closed until Monday. They said to take him to the emergency room if he got worse. I ended up having to bring him to the ER because he wasn't any better. The ER said that Banfield should have kept him 48hrs at least. I was sold a 2005 Sebring, my registration and ins papers show the VIN # means a 2004. On top of this, because of Katrina (a month after I bought the car) my wife was out of work for 2 yeras, which put us way behind with everything. This is a complaint against the General Electric Company for refusing to honor their stated warranty on a dishwasher installed in September 2007. Briefly, the new General Electric dishwasher we purchased has a stainless steel tub. Shortly (i.e. 2 weeks) after installation a number of small, pinhead-sized pits in the surface of the stainless tub were noticed due to rust rings forming around them.
