Brookstone lacks customer service and could care less about their reputation in Greenville, SC. I purchased a tire gauge during the holidays for a gift. Like everyone who buys a Land Rover we felt we were purchasing a vehicle that was top of the line. It is a 2003 Land Rover Discovery we purchased fully loaded off the showroom floor. The ups store is actually mailboxes etc. They shipped a package ups and it was lost. Two months later and 20 calls, countless hours wasted and I still don't have my money for replacement. UPS says its not their problem and "the ups store (mailboxes etc)" says they never got paid. So I'm screwed and still wasting my time. Don't waste yours. We hired Relocation Van Lines to pack move our belongings out of state. In order to not have any surprise charges, we had a representative from the company come to our home to look at our belongings to provide an accurate estimate for the move. The movers showed up as contracted on the move date and began to pack our belongings. All of this seemed to be fine. What is the purpose of a grace period? Apparently for Wells Fargo, it means nothing. Every month I go to their website and schedule my auto payment. Each time it is at least 2 days before the grace period ends, but each month I still get collection calls. I don't have an answering machine, but on my caller ID, it showed up that they had called my house 5 times in one day and on the 6th time I was at home to take the call. After 5 months of trying to resolve an issue with my homeowners insurance with ASC, I figured I had actually succeeded. I spoke with four different customer service representatives, one of whom was a supposed supervisor. We stayed one night at this hotel and after checking out my friend noticed a charge to his credit card for $40.00. He called the franchisel owner/manger about the charge and she said it was due to a curtain rod being broken. I was the last person to leave the room and there was no damage when we left. A SDSU student, in a contest to earn money for a trip to London, was selling books and magazines. He told me since I was a teacher I qualified for a discount, buy 2 get the 3rd one free. There were several books I was interested in, so that was an easy decision. He quoted me $34 and $32 for the books and when it came time to write the receipt, he wrote them on two separate receipts and gave me a total of $98. Over the course of last year, TruGreen completely killed my lawn - it literally disintegrated. I am very offended that Burger King stoops to criticizing other food chains in the hopes of improving their sales. The most recent commercial that I have seen is downgrading Wendy's. Is that really necessary? Burger King has great food products (my favorite fast food restaurant)! I purchased a 1.97 CD re: ways to obtain grants for small businesses. The company then charged me 39.95 for continue access to their database (which I never used); 7.95 was charged from ANOTHER company for "bonus" database access and another 9.95 was charged from ANOTHER company called networkagenda. The monies are being returned to me after many phone calls and threats to dispute charges via my credit card. This is SO unethical. On 10/05/07 we purchased a used 2004 Honda Civic hatchback from Power Honda of Valencia. At the time of purchase, we were encouraged to buy an extended 24 mo./24,000 mi. warranty for a used vehicle. I made a loan for $100 last nov 1 with loan shop/ douglas marketing. Tried ordering flowers from Bloomex.ca for my wife's birthday ... order never arrived. Called customer service 5 times... they claimed the card used was declined - but when I called Visa, no attempt was ever made to bill the card. The real problem here is that phone calls are answered by a CALL CENTER THAT CAN'T HELP YOU AT ALL. They send 'messages' to 'production'.... Also, THEY CAN'T TELL WHERE AN ORDER IS AT ANY GIVEN TIME. I have had three charges of $14.95 every month since 12/2/2007 which I assumed was from Microsoft since the amount was so similar. I have no idea who these people are and this is some sort of scam. I have phoned I have written this company... it is insulated against any and all attempts to have meaningful contacts to resolve any issues. If you have Time Warner Cable or Cablevision or DirectTV or Dish Network... KEEP IT you are better off... I have tried all but Dish Network but a friend is very satisfied with the price and quality of the image... My wife had oral surgery done. The periodontist's office offered credit arrangements via CareCredit (a.k.a. GE Moneybank). The deal was 0% interest if paid in full within one year. We paid extra each month to make sure we paid it off before the one-year expired.
