Sunday 4/6/08. The paperwork and verbal agreement was for my husband and I to attend a 90 minute presentation of Williamsburg Plantation. We are accustomed to attending timeshare presentation and allowed 2 hours for the appointment. However we were held there from 10:30 am t0 2:00 pm (3.5 hours). They gave me a bs estimate then tried to scam me out of $3500 in work that they said was done but the mechanic said had not yet started, they finished two weeks late then said it might not work, they finished at $700 over the estimate and only after a complaint to the BBB. I have been billed for whatever this company sells on my credit card quite a few times. I have never ordered anything from them and I have to keep calling my credit card company to have it removed. July 2004 I sign up for Verizon phone service, they send a tech out after I tell them the house has never had phone service. They have been stalling for nearly a year on paying a small claim with no explanation and many promises that the claim will be paid. They haven't denied it...it's simply gone into the system and no one can tell us why we haven't received a check. We've spent hours on the phone trying to get some action. Rude on the phone about unexplained charges. Made no attempt to rectify the situation. Although not intentionally deceiving, they chose to hide how charges are made. Did not explain how they bill their customers and proceeded to charge for services that could be free if you knew that's what they were charging you for. Example: installing Service Pack 2 and subsequent updates at a rate of $45 an hour. I came across a rebate offer from RainX - It was: buy 2 rainx products - get the 3rd free - two offers per household - so I bought 6 wiper blades for which I was supposed to get a $10 rebate from each for a total of $20.
