My wife and I modified our loan in Dec. we went from an ARM to a fixed rate for 3 years. 5 months later we received a letter telling us our loan is going to be adjusted and our new payment would be $250 more. We nearly lost our house and it was like pulling teeth to get them to modify in the first place. We were so happy when they finally modified, but now they are going to try and be sneaky and make it adjustable again. I am going to be getting myself an attorney to fight these people. I was planning on selling my terminator scooter on Craigslist, but in lieu of recent events, have decided that would be a BAD idea. Chase Bank repeatedly sends our teenage college student checks that are apparently free money. The fine print (which a teenager is unlikely to be alert to) states that cashing this $9.25 check commits her to annual fees of $119.99 for travel discounts. Chase is effectively preying on the gullibility of a very young, inexperienced, and cash poor person. This is unethical! I called to have my teenager's name removed from the mailings, Chase refused, despite the fact that I am a joint owner of the banking account. I purchased a 2008 Dynamax Grand Sport from Richardson’s RV in August of 2007, I have taken one trip with it back in November of 2007 and that is when it broke down first in Texas. The Transmission was stuck in low gear and then intermittently would shift completely out of gear while on the freeway. My wife brought my 1999 F150 in for an oil change. When they finished the oil change and were backing the truck out of the building, the left front brakeline blew out. I called my credit card to help me with the BSM/Grant Search Asst. charges on my card. They started charging my card 4 days after I purchased the CD. According to their policy it's supposed to be a 7 day trial period. My credit card company researched the correct phone number 866-370-7270. I was given a confirmation for my cancellation and they are going to refund the charges. This should include all charges including the BSM/SBA Express.
