Poor and dangerous workmanship summarizes my experience with Strowd. They built a nice boathouse for me but the electrical was a nightmare. I have called them repeatedly about a dangerous junction box they placed under my boathouse (high voltage wires are joined under the boathouse facing the water). When the water rises, the box and wires get wet and I have been advised not to get in the water. I have called James Strowd repeatedly on this issue and he will not respond. I have taken my computer in 4 times and nothing is wrong with it. I have had Charter cable come out three times and it still is having intermittent connection activity problems. I've had my secondary mortgage loan with SLS for about 1 1/2 years. This is the only bill I've actually had to write a check for and mail in, as the on-line payment feature costs 5.00 a payment to make, even if you are making a payment on time. I just received a bill for about $744 for the previous month of service, to my surprise, as my bill is usually around $70 or so since I move into this new resent mid last year. I later found out after, speaking with the customer service, this is because for the past 5 month, they have been using an "estimation" of the gas usage.
