They promised us 27 transactions minimum or we'll get our money back. We did only 6 deals during the time we were in their coaching program. We did everything the coaches told us, which was more work than we ever did before, and we made less then we ever did before. We paid them 1, 000 dollars a month for a year. Every year, Green Tree requires me to fax proof of insurance. Every year, I get my agent to fax this information to them. The next year, they want it AGAIN. I have never been without homeowner's insurance, and the previous mortgage services (Greenpoint & NationsBanc) never did this harassment. This company in Streamwood IL took my money. In March I placed an online order with them and paid by paypal. To date I have not received my merchandise. The stupid thing I did was to try to deal with them instead of contacting paypal after 20 days. We bought a Sealy Posturpedic king size bed set from Haverty's and were told that there is a warranty. Before a year was up, the bed had a 1 inch sag. Haverty's sent out people to look at it. They said they couldn't warranty the bed until the sag was an inch and a half and that 1 1/2 inches is the industry standard for replacement. However, she just put on the dye and went about chatting and doing other things, forgetting about me. She came back once to check on it, and said it wasn't done yet. I took my vehicle to the local dealership with an intermittent reverse problem. It was tested there for a full day and they ran all the necessary tests, all of which came back with everything working correctly, including oil and fluids being clear, electronics, etc. and that all gears were working including reverse. My wife and her 2 sisters and brother stayed this past weekend at the Holiday Inn Express in Jacksonville, NC, which is close to the Marine Base there to meet our nephew return after his 2nd tour in Iraq. Even though the hotel was under renovations and would not have electricity at times throughout the weekend, they failed to notify people that had reservations, of that fact and insisted that they could not do anything about it except give them a small discount. They also tried to tell him the spark plugs were bad after he put new platinum plugs in the car - of course they didn't know he did his own tune-ups!! I called them to come out to open the door to my son's car, as he had left the keys in the ignition. They and everyone else I called quoted a price of approximately $80. They were late coming out, but did the job and when they charged my credit card, the amount was $239. They then agreed to fax me a receipt. This puppy was for my little 6 yr old granddaughter who has a life threatening heart condition.
