I order a game on line from take2store. The game was to include two extra games for free. I had it shipped to my mail forwarding service in Washington, and then had it forwarded to my temporary home in the Philippines. We got the shipment in the Philippines, opened it without realizing that we were only looking at one of the extras, and not even the original primary game. Advanta Business Cards is offering a 0% fee for new cards for 1 year with a supposedly fixed rate of 7.9% from there on. This is bait and switch scam! I applied for the card several years ago and several months ago the rate went up to 15%. I paid off the balance and continued to use the card paying it off on time to avoid the interest. These people are very cleaver. I found a charge on my card for them that I did not authorize for 19.95 last month. I went to my bank and had the charges reversed and that card canceled. The cincinnati police suck so much. They gave a parking ticket to my g.f who is parked in front of my driveway, who has a license plate from another state, on a closed off street! They cant have a pot hole fixed to save there life. My problem is maintenance issues. Since I have moved in in January, there have been many maintenance problems that I have brought up to the office and have never been taken care of. One major issue is the mice problem. I have been told three times now that pest control is coming out and they never come. Company called me in Australia on home phone offering deal. I unfortunately gave them my credit card details and they charged my card. It was supposed to be towards accommodation in Florida. Company does not answer phone calls and larger amount was charged to my card. ACCC in Australia said that web site was registered in Arizonia. This scam was supposed to be $349 and could of easily of been more. How many other people have they tricked. Very poor management. I was charged $100.00 for a satellite dish on the balcony that was there when I moved in. After there 6 months they lease to neighbors that slammed doors and played loud music and I had to have proof they were doing so. I finally got of my lease because they would not evict them. I purchased a Sears Oasis washing machine November 2007, after 6 months the machine would not spin, the Sears repair man came out and fixed it. He stated that there were problems with this model. In June 2008 the machine would not spin, Sears said this is unrelated to the other incident and this would not be covered under the warranty. Just noticed an unauthorized credit card charge on May 20, 2008 from a company called "HB Products Unlimited" in West Jordan, Utah. Charge was for $69.97. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes from Sunset Strip Shoes. The first two pairs came in the wrong color. And the last pair was back ordered. I contacted the company about what I could do about the shoes that came in the wrong color. They took FOREVER getting back to me and then gave me the run-around. We just canceled our "free vacation" and are stuck with a $60.00 charge. They tell you you will be staying in one of their resorts, but when you get your confirmation in the mail, it ends up being the Red Roof Inn. Advertises "High-speed, low-latency, gaming compatible, comparable to cable" speeds and has major lag and customer service issues. Waiting on the phone for 15-30 minutes (wonder why?) only to listen to some tech give you a novel of excuses about why you aren't getting better service. The company, No More Mortgage is unfortunately, similar to others that you may here on the mainstream radio. They will advertise their free information with the exception of shipping and handling. They will give you a time period in which to evaluate the product before you are charged the full product price. I hired this moving company in April. We negotiated a price and I understood that it would be a 3hr minimum (1hr was for drive time, gas, etc., while the other 2 hrs would be moving time). Purchased A Torin 3ton garage combo set (floor jack and stands) on 1/6/08. Got it out over the weekend to use for the second time and it went up but couldn't get it down, had to use pliers to turn the release gear. This is very dangerous. I purchased something called an Ultimate Vacation Adventure, which entitles me to round trip airfare for two to a variety of locations in the US. This was purchased on the WELE travel show for $125.
