I switched to Ambit Energy to save money on my electric bill and to make money promoting it as it is offered through multi level marketing. The website TheToyHunt.com deceives customers by inflating MSRP prices and offering what looks like a huge percentage off - which is a lie. Here is just one example. The Toy Hunt advertises a Mickey's Clubhouse Party Dinner Plate 8 pack at a regular price of $4.70 and a sale price of $3.29. The manufacturers website shows the actual MSRP of only $3.49. I purchased two twin beds from Linders Furniture in Torrance, Ca. I was encouraged to buy the extended warranty in case they broke, chipped, etc. I was not really sold on the idea but the salesperson said, if your kids jump on the bed and it breaks we replace it. Back2back in California gave my mom an initial quote of $3909. She lived in a small duplex. The day she was to be out of the house they arrived demanding an additional $5, 000 or they wouldn't move her. She was frazzled and paid the money. They are a terrible company. I believe they take advantage of the elderly. They boasted about free storage and then charged $800 for warehouse handling fees. Please look elsewhere - don't even get a quote - they lie. We ordered the Nitro Twister Scooter and the Vintage 150 from Scooter Nitro. They said free delivery and it would be 8-14 days. Today is business day 18 and no sign of the scooter. Almost immediately after ordering, they said there would be a delay. On business day 18, I got tracking info for ONLY 1 scooter. They said they were promised the other by the end of the week. Do not use this guy. Calls himself "Peter Lee" and is a big advertiser on Craiglist, with daily ads about granite counter tops, bathroom and kitchen remodels, etc. We made the mistake of using him for a condo bathroom remodel and it was a disaster. Keith Thomas was to have cut down dead trees in our yard, ground down stumps, and returned with mulch. He was 2 weeks late in removing the trees and then asked for the entire payment. Vacation Rental at Table Rock in Shell Knob, MO is a rip off. They over charge for a poorly kept lake cabin with no lake view. They also ask for a deposit which you will never see again. Their cleaning expectations are ridiculous. We left the cabin as we found it and they said "it took five hours to clean it" and took our deposit. This company was paid for a very large landscaping project at our home. One month after the start of the project 2 large expensive trees died. Owner promised they were covered under warranty and they would take care of it. One year and two months after the project was dropped by Dreamscapes we have had to hire someone else to buy trees and plant them for us. I sent a certified letter to Dreamscapes and they refused it. FDC Servers sends out e-mails about upgrades available. They do not send out any information on who can receive these upgrades. Upon attempting to purchase the upgrade, I was told I do not qualify. I state that the e-mails stated no information on the people this upgrade offer applies too. With no luck through them I file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau, the next business day I get an e-mail saying that my account is being closed.
