I have tried for three months in a row to make a reservation on their website and phone and can never get through to them. We paid a lot of money to stay in Cobo and to this date still have not secured any kind of a room . I think the better business bureau and the state general's office should look into this resort and the handling of reservations etc.. They talked me into selliing my Marriott Time Share and then we paid additional $18, 000 to stay in Cobo. RENTER BEWARE- your rental costs may be $600 more than the quoted rental rate !! I rented a condo on the beach for Labor Day 2007. The house was actually very nice but the promised bikes were 2 vintage rusty bikes under the porch. we had to get rental bikes. The contract stated that our $600 deposit would be returned in 2 weeks. I have just wasted time by frustrating myself repeatedly, trying to join Planet Fitness online. I filled out the form correctly and completely. After doing that, I received the automated message that my credit card appeared to be invalid. Maybe I entered the numbers or expiration date incorrectly? No, it was exactly as it should be. I tried again...and again. There is no way of accessing a live human being (of course). The next automated message commanded me to go to the club and "clear up the matter". Sheesh! I don't think so. I leased an Acura TL three years ago and was talked into buying a LoJoack detection package for a ridiculous amount of money that was tacked on to my monthly lease price. I was told that the expense was worth it because I would have it forever, no matter what car I owned in the future. Now that I'm ready to lease another car, I find out that the LoJack stays with the car it was installed in FOREVER. I am no dummy, with two postgraduate degrees from Columbia University, and I did not find it necessary to read the fine print back then. Centon sent me a package and gave me a tracking number, for a Fedex ground delivery.It was nice cause i could track it from California to IL. I had to call for a locksmith because I was worried that my last key for my car was going to break. I called them, they told me that it would be about $155.00 for the first key. They came out, then I was told that there is an additional fee of $55.00 just for them to come, and if I wanted a second key it would cost $29.00. I was bill for 10 dollars for no reason. Called their help desk, guess where, India, and recieved nothing but double talk and BS. I asked for a contact in the USA and was told there wasn't one. They told me to fax in my complaint, probably to the dead letter pool. I had to cancel my credit card. Luckily, by back has a good customer service department and they are actually in the USA. Last August I bought a Sears Kenmore that worked for less than 2 weeks. I wasn't worried, I had purchased a 3 year warranty. Beside this was Sears they would stand by their product. Then followed 8 appointments in which Sears did everything to not replace the unit. They replaced it's condesors and piping, it 's electrical switching. I purchased a 2006 Ford Five hundred from this dealership and am very happy with the car. The day after I purchased the car I was attempting to find the code to use on the key pad on the door for the purpose of unlocking the car without keys. They say I have to write them to cancel my account, something they neglected to mention for two years! I have been in toch with them for a year, expressing my displeasure with their service(or lack there-of). These phone conversations were not enough for them, apparently. So now I wasted $600 for year one, and they charge my card for year two also. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Last year's order was fraught with problems but my daughter was told to plant and wait. So, when it was clear several plants were not viable, she asked for a refund. This company is bilking honest people of their money. Keep an eye on your account. If you notice it is being charged to your debit card then you will immediately need to cancel the card and fill out a fraud form with your bank. This can take awhile but at least you will get your money back. If your bank is unresponsive close your account and go to another bank. I was charged just under $70. I Placed an order with this company on-line. It took several attempts to connect to their server. I tried placing the order via phone, and gave up after 20 minutes on hold. I went to a lunch buffet today at the location off of Carmel Road, and I have to say it was the nastiness place I have been too. The ladies room smelled horrible as both toliets were clogged and stopped up therefore leaving the patron unable to use the restrooms and the restaurant was full of flies- must be from the clogged up sewage toliets.
