I ordered an expensive item online at www.microcenter.com and after several hours, no e-mail acknowledgment of order was received. I called store and was told a salesperson would call me back. Salesperson, to their credit, was able to place item on 24hr hold. Next day, still no e-mail from online store, however I was able to pay for and pickup product. The caller ID only showed a 9 digit number. I hung up as soon as I realized the call was a recording offering a carpet cleaning service so I do not know the name of the company. I purchased an almost $3, 000 leather reclining sofa and chair & 1/2 from La Z Boy exactly a year ago. After 6 months there was noticeable wear and chaffing of the leather on the seat cushions. They came out and replaced the seats, then shortly after the seat started showing wear and chaffing on the chair (that was used less). They replaced that. Now it's about 6 months in, and it is starting to wear and chaff again. Airsplat consistently misleads and doesn't come through. I ordered an air gun on July 6th. Internet said it was 'in stock'. Watch out for Time Life. If you buy anything from them, they include a “Free” 30 day trail offer to “Passport to FUN”, mostly without you noticing it. They are also kind enough to give this company your credit card information. It also threatened to charge me with so called membership fee. I called restaurant.com, some manager told me that restaurant.com is so "kind" to register all their customers to this "great" offer of shoppingessentialsplus.com. Had surgery at St Francis Mooresville campus on 12/11/06. After "numerous" phone calls from myself to the hospital to obtain a "correct" bill, I finally received an accurate billing statement dated 1/1/08. I purchased a battery for my Dell computer. It failed within a few months and they sent me a replacement (after numerous efforts to reach them went unanswered). That battery failed within a few weeks. They promised a refund when we sent that one back but instead they sent another battery! That one also failed immediately. We sent that one back and they claimed they never received it. So, they refused to refund, replace or give us any credit for the purchase. There is a crack on my Sterling (same company with Kohler) bathtub I bought from Lowe's. I contacted Kohler customer service but was told that the problem I'm encountered is not covered by the manufacture warranty. I just want to share this with everyone to be aware. The web site ad inticates 6.95 for shipping, however, this is charged for EACH set, not for the total order. This is not revealed to the customer until the order is complete (there is no shopping cart or shipping page to check). there is no way to reverse or cancel the order on line, nor was I able to cancel the order over the phone. I was suggested a wrong treatment. Antibiotics should do with the pain I had. I was suggested root canal treatment. I was overcharged 8 times than what I had to pay. I was very new to this dental procedure. I assumed that's how much my percentage share would be after the insurance pays. I purchased a sub zero 601 stand alone freezer unit new in march 2002. The unit was delivered defective. many different problems cropped up over the years. Blown defrost heater coil, ice maker malfunction, outer seal leaks. The unit has been serviced more than 25 times in less than 6 years with an average mean time between failure of approx. 3 mos.
