As of last Friday (Aug. 8), the postal delivery persons have just left the mail for this house lying on an open front porch, where it was visible from the street to any passerby who might wish to pick it up and where it got rained on a couple of days. I do not understand why the delivery people do not use the locked box which post persons have been using for as long as I have lived here (about fifty years). I went to buy my very first sewing machine at Joann Fabrics in Orange, California thinking that a fabric store would have better knowledge on the different sewing machines available. It was on one of the first weekends that Fina opened in Los Altos. As I was making my purchase, I accidentally knocked over a jewelry stand near the register. One of the owners, Ron Barajas, loudly sighed and went to pick up the items that fell. I thought that was really rude of him. On an opening weekend, you would think you would be extra nice to your customers. Within a year of owning the Cuisinart coffeemaker DTC 975 series, I had it replaced once; the second pot malfunctioned within 2mos. Total cost of shipping on my part approx. $20. for each replacement. Told by Co. rep. out of thousands of coffeemakers there may be 50 defective. I of course received two of them. Why should I incur the extra expense of shipping for their defective product. I've decided not to chance another defective pot and absorb the loss. The original cost was $99.00. Contacted the company about securing a unsecured Visa/Mastercard. Was told to send in $49.00 for a absolute guarantee approval, with the credit cards in my hands in as little as 14 days. Strayer keeps part of your refund check, professors are not accredited, they put spy ware on your computer to track where you been and what you do. The staff is rude and not helpful. When I complained to the manager on duty she acted as though her lunch was more important than customer service. She was ignorant and condescending. I found hard whole kernels of corn in some of the cans of food. I have been charged 29.95 (CLICKBANK) FOR governments records and cannot get my product. I have sent my receipt number---proof of pay, only to be stonewalled and told the receipt number is inaccurate. This is clearly fraudulent taking of money without the product. In February I booked a trip to the Bahamas through Gloria Holmgren. I dropped my boat off on May 2, 2008 at Northpoint Watersports in Mooresville, North Carolina for some simple preventitive maintenance and minor warranty work. This and other company's advertise cameras at lower prices than the norm and as available for immediate shipment. Then once you order and give them all your credit card and personal information, phone numbers etc they send you an order number claiming that shipment will take place within forty eight hours. After some time when you call to ask about the shipment, they inform you that the item is back ordered for six to eight weeks.
