I worked as a vendor for Hertz Rental Car and was exposed to harrassing abuse for years. When I complained in a letter to the VP they supposedly fired the guy but would never re-instate my position as a vendor. I guess when you make a bad deed public, you are enemy No. 1. I was a very productive contractor who put up with a lot of verbal/degrading abuse at the hands of Hertz managers. These big corporations think they are not to be held accountable. I was sent an offer for 0% interest for 18 months on any balance transfers over $100. I signed up for the account and initiated the transfers. I was charged 8.99% on my first bill for my entire transfer. I called the customer service line and was told they did not have any record of my 0% offer.
