We have been loyal Target customers for years. We have always paid our balances on time. I was not planning to renew the Norton Security on my PC for this year. When the reminder came up that my subscription was going to expire within a month, I opted not to renew. Tried to uninstall the program using their uninstall option but program did not go away. Received nearly hourly reminders of the renewal. After several days, I received an "upgrade now" message and wasn't sure if it was for my current subscription, so I upgraded and was charged as a renewal for the next year. I ordered this trial product, which you only had to pay S & H charges of $4.95. This is all that I had authorized for this company to take out of my checking account. Several days later there was a charge of $44.85 from my account and the name was from Acia-Pure with 1-888-692-8352. I called them and told them about it. Then I e-mailed them and received a response from Trisha Scott, CCN saying practically nothing and of course you can not reach anyone by phone. I am also upset with this company. I found the customer service number (800-777-4034) When I called I got some woman that sounded like she had just had throat surgery... I had to have her repeat every sentence. According to them, they shipped my order on Sept 18th... that is one day short of a month of when I ordered it. I recently stayed at the Hyatt Airport hotel in Orlando, FL. A few days after getting home the charges went through. The bill was $812.52 and should have been $715.52. I purchased a package of products from Theraplay/Playaway Toys for my autistic son. Two months later, I still haven't received everything and calls to the company fall on deaf ears. They promise that someone will call me back regarding the status of the order but they never do. They are now being evasive when asked about who's in charge and how they can be reached. I requested a quote from Blatt Billiards to install my snooker table. A service technician saw the table, and took the pockets, rails and cloth to work up the final quote. Before I received the quote, they charged my credit card. Upon review of the quote, it was too expensive.
