A Goodmans GDB6 Freeview DTV Receiver review - I bought this unit to replace an ALBA Freeview box which suffered tuner failure, so was not pleased when the Goodmans unit failed with the same problem at just over 1 year old. When I complained to Goodmans, I discovered that they are really Alba Radio Ltd. The moral of this story is DON'T BUY anything made by Alba Radio, even if it is badged Goodmans. I registered with Insta Money, but the process was inconsistent with what was described in the FAQ. Hi, I am looking for any info you may have on a credit card company. I was approached by a sales person from Wholesale Merchant Services in Feb 05. He told me my Hypercom machine was illegal as it printed out the customer card #. I found out later that it only needed to be reprogrammed. He convinced me to take their machine in its place. I've exchanged money before with Thomson and always been relatively happy. So, when I booked a hotel for stopping in on my return from holiday in China, I had no hesitation amonut ordering some Hong Kong dollars and Chinese yen. I purchased my currency for £750 thinking all was well. But I was horrified the next day, when I found I could have purchased the same amount of currency elsewhere for £620, a loss of £130. I recently purchased a Saeco Royal Coffee Bar from Ira Wood & Sons, Inc. The first machine was broken from the moment I opened the box and I immediately contacted Ira Wood for a replacement. The replacement finally came and it kind of worked for 2 weeks and then broke completely. I contacted Ira Wood and after almost a month of waiting they told me I would have to deal with Saeco. I contacted the manufacturer as instructed and have received NO help from Saeco. They are completely ignoring all of my phone calls and e-mails. The machine is from a renown coffee maker. Though for a straight forward filter coffee maker it is quite pricey, expect to pay between 30-60. For this price and from Gaggia I would expect a faultless coffee maker. But has anyone like me filled the machine to the maximum and watched what happens? The jug overspills! I bought a movie ticket through Fandango and through buting my movie ticket what i thought i was getting was just coupons but it really is a membership club that is going to charge you a monthly fee each month and if you are not aware of this they can eally get you. Fandango movie tickets on line is how they got my card number. so when buying anything online be aware that if you accpet or agree to free other things be very carefull they not charging for that service.
