I reside in Tilden Houses (NYCHA). My refrigerator has not been working since Wednesday Oct. 29th. I have made several complaints and just keep getting a ticket number. I purchased a new Nikon D300 camera from TriState they shipped the camera to me when it arrived the lens was defective. I called and was given an RMA to send the camera back meanwhile they shipped me a replacement. This company received over $3000 from me. In return I was supposed to be the exclusive RE expert in Durham, NC and all Durham related leads generated by their website were to be directed to me. I would not pay a referral fee for any leads generated by their website until after I had re-couped my initial investment. After that, I would pay REexpert a 20% referral fee. I received a bill from a dental cleaning for my daugther around 6/08 for services rendered on 8/26/07. The company has been stalling us for 3 years after our partnership voted to sell our portfolios. I have emails from Jana Rogers as early as May saying that all the portfolios were sold and we would receive our distribution very soon. This money is in an IRA and a CFP and Certified Senior Advisor recommended this investment to us. They may be okay to their customers (although running pretty disorganized and late with deliverables), but boy do they go sideways with their contractors. Get a contract and a deposit before doing any work for these yo-yos. They don't know which end is up most of the time, their communication is manic and at any time they will conjure a reason surrounding that to not pay you for work you've done for them.
