This company somehow found old debts from over 10 yrs ago and my information. They have been calling me since late Feburary 2008 till now. They tell me if I don' settle this debt I will be sent a judgement against me. I have been paoid them around $600.00 or so, just $100.00 payments when I can. They haven't tried to access more money than I authorize for. I can not seem to get straight information if this company is real or not. Got a purchase for $2.01 after signing up for "free magazines" after my purchase of a used CD. I haven't gotten magazines, but I did get the charge. The charge on my card was " TWX*MAGAZINE ORDER 800-927 6427" I called the number, and it is an automated phone sex line. I called their customer service and they actually asked me for my credit card number, and my name. I gave them my name but refused to give my card information. Turns out they are a credit card billing company, but say that they do not work with TWX magazine. I hate people. I should eat them. read full review »

I went to Things Remembered to purchase a baptism present for my neice. I have two complaints from this first (and last) experience at Things Remembered. The employees were rude not only to each other, but to customers as well. This made for an unpleasant visit. When I picked up my item, I noticed that they mispelled the name on my engraving and when asked to correct it, they appeared bothered to have to correct it. Richard Hillard has done nothing according to contract. He repeatedly ignores phone calls yet demands his payment. In the time I have been a customer of his he has let go of ALL of his major employees. All of the employees that were helpful and took care of us, are gone. I have received two packages containing a 'free sample' of Bromolite Digestive Supplement. One was a mailed on Oct 21 and the next on Nov 12, 2008. I payed for a car amp jl audio 1000/1 with a money order. I sent it to the address po box 194 mt. sinai NY 11766, made out to jonathan cluade . The money order was cash on 5-16-06. The guy responed in a email saying thank u . And than the ebay site got shut down. His communication was cut off and he never sent me the amp I payed for. The email address is bogus - just keeps bouncing back. and I have another 3 months supply on the way. How does one go about canceling what is referred to as membership in the literature supplied. After accepting an offer from them for a credit card, I explored their website and discovered that the card could only be used on their merchandise and that this stuff was priced twice the going rate. I called the company back the next day and declined the offer, sent them an email saying the same thing and sent a fax. Foolishly I've hired these caterers and gone to several events that they catered. Awful food, not so much because of its quality but because of its preparation. A kid just learning to scramble eggs could do better, and I've seen better presentation in a Marine Corps barracks. Additionally, I know they don't always pay their bills. They really took advantage of one company that had done terrific work for them for at least five years, only to be left with a bill for $500 unpaid. Keep away from these guys. I bought a Tom Tom Go 920T, The mount on the unit detached from the window of the car and the unit fell to the shifter on my vehicle and shattered the screen, knowing it was not warrantable, I called Tom Tom for repairs. Guess what they do not repair the units at ALL!! and if you take it to an unauthorized repairer your warranty will be voided. I was on a service repair plan and paid my monthly bills by mail. One month I paid my bill online and then I never received another bill in the mail. I thought they had discontinued the service. About 10 months later I started getting letters from CenterPoint saying they were trying to e-mail me my bill for some reason, but my e-mail address didn't work for them. On August 1st, 2008 I booked a three night stay at the Best Wester in Ormond Beach, Fl through SaveOnResorts after being solicted by telephone. After confirmining and receiving a confirmation for my stay, I paid for tickets to an event(Daytona 500) at the cost of $400.00 plus $300.00 for airfare. Fortunately, they were denied as they were unable to confirm my identity, but when I tried to call the fraud department, it was apparent that they OUTSOURCE their services, because I could barely understand the person at the other end of the phone. The whole interview was a scam, they say they sell parts to Kirby when they want you to sell their vaccum's. The interviewer talks extremely fast so that you can barely understand him, and when you are so exited about probably getting the job, they convieniently leave out important details like pay rate, and structured work schedules. And then you call and they tell you you are hired and come to training tomorrow. It's all a very faced paced deal to confuse and exite the unemployem people into agreeing to do a sub par job that they probably wouldn't want if it were all explained slowly and clearly to them. read full review »

I had a broken expansion tank at the apartment building I own, I found them on google as my regular plumber was out of town, I have 7 tenants there and needed immediate repair.The technician told me the tank must be replaced, it is the size of a propane tank used for your BBQ. Harrassing phone calls from salesmen in Arizona, called main office. Would not help or give out any numbers or allow me to speak to a manager. Received 20-25 calls in the morning.
