Purchased in Las Vegas, NM and after filing a complaint about them, I decided to also file a complaint in case this DVD went missing through Disney's DVD distributor. I bought a Tinkerbell DVD for my daughter's birthday at the Las Vegas, NM Walmart. It was fully shrink wrapped around the box. Received a letter regarding the "winning", and that I was entitled to $55, 000.oo. I have been trying to cancel membership with SMCorp since the moment I felt I was talked into giving out my credit information and forced into becoming a member. I have called repetedly and when gotten a real person instead of a machine they have transfered me to a machine detailing instructions on how to cancel which were not aplicatable in my situation. When I recieved the packet in mail as said on the machine for canceling I returned the packet. I received a quote from a Chris H who committed to a maximum rate for the move. When we reached the destination, the driver/head honcho - Eugene and his despatcher Adam refused to unload the furniture unless I signed the credit card bill for $500+ higher than the quote. I have purchased this product because it was lifetime warranty and to be great cookware. Needless to say, tefalon coating is cracking and scratching with plastic or soft utensils. I wrote for a sample of their product. Without advertising or making it clear, they then shipped a refill and enrolled me in their 30 day continuity rogram for $88.97 every 30 days. They also gave their cancelation website in three different ways, with spaces and without spaces so that the initial attempt resulted in no access. The website also now contains numerous complaints of deceptive advertising and selling practices. I will file further complaints and try to have the charges on my credit card stopped. Got a call from salesman, Scott, and ordered what I was told would be a Bosch cut off saw for metal studs. I was to get 50 cut-off wheels with it for the same price. $50 vanilla debit gift card received in April 08. 1st use for $32.50 no problem. 2nd and 3rd attempts to use bal. of $17.50 card declined. Called Visa & was told that my total purchase was more than card balance, thus declined. RIDICULOUS! The card balance should have been credited against my purchase and I pay the difference. Lost $5. in "Visa fees" by the time I found out the problem. That same day I went to a store & totaled up $12.50 in items & the card worked. I called the phone number and after a 15 minute wait was told that the charge was for auto-renewal of Registry Mechanic. I signed a contract with R E Advocate for the 96744 territory of the town of Kaneohe on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The cost was approx. $3, 500 for the set-up fee. Our HOA had hired Emiroglu Management Service of Leesburg, VA to handle financial bookkeeping and also Resale Packages with architectural code inspections. They ended up not performing inspections and then terminating with us after only 4 months. While their price was the lowest, we soon learned that you get what you pay for. We are now struggling with resident complaints over getting charged $100+ for having a few documents mailed to them by Emiroglu.
